Chapter 5

I barely go out the forest unscatted. The pressure sure is cunning, it unexpectedly almost smash me into a bloody fragment. But the thunderous howl shatted the force, the blue light appear before my eyes.

I couldn't just stand idly, shouted before the light turn away, “Why! Why save me?!”

I try to reach the blue light but a whisper stop me, restaraint me gently, “Reach out and you'll regret it!”

I was a fool to believe and the blue light gone like a wind before I knew it. But it's not a waste thing, my heart tremble to realize something. The voice just now is trully familiar!

“Is it still coincidence?” I ponder the matter with the shaken of my hands. I don't know why I even thought of it, but there's a part of me that I can't believe revive the hope that those aren't illusion of before might be a real thing!

I didn't leave for good continue crossing the deep of the forest. Now, a strange strength made it possible. And the thought that the blue light must not be gone for good, and it will save me if the situation call for it. So what's there to feel afraid of crossing this dreaded of a forest?

The pressure is strangely mold from the fragment, now lurking not so far away in its weakest state. It such a strange, now so cautious after abandon the thought of smashing me. Perhaps the work of the blue light?

But that's not really the only case. I can't stop thinking the voice and the words accompanied. Its threat is sounds like not at all a lie, it as if trully it's dangerous to touch.

“It can't be Alarkin, then,” I murmured, strange feeling rosing within. Just thinking it wasn't really him is kind of a bother. But if the threat is there for a reason, then there's no way it was him.

Alarkin can be touch. He's a fool that once let me smash his face for being such a fool. So where's the blue light that shattered the pressure earlier?

The forest fell to silence, not a single creature show up since then. I can't be sure if this forest is the real pack itself. But the pressure makes it possible that the forest is housing an important species.

Just I thought I was calm, my heart tremble by the sudden roared. It is different from the sulking roared before, now it has the might that my heart couldn't possibly withstand. I slightly shaken, yet there's no blue light to save me from this dread!

I fall several times, my mind blank. The moment I clear my mind, the trees is already blown away in the area. I didn't wait for realization and run so fast to the location that the pressure actively crashing. Not even the creature that suddenly shown is fortunate enough to not cry out loud. They are crash miserably!

What causing my heart to skip a beat is their gaze that suddenly stop at me. It is filled with anger and strange expression I couldn't believe I'm seeing!

“Did I wrong them?” I stop myself from stepping back. Whoever cause this is trying to shift the anger of the creatures of this forest to me!

“Guys, I don't know what happen...” I try to said but they roared miserably. Despite the blood dripping in their mouth, they gritted their teeth to deliver the might of their anger.

I thought my soul smash to the fragment, and I step back so fast without thinking too much. This creature is sure is intelligence and I couldn't believe I forgot something like their origin!

“Why the pack is here?” I shriek to my heart. How can I really know the boring people in the central isn't at all the might of this place?!

Misty didn't said anything, perhaps she doesn't know what housing at the heart of the forest!

Though my heart is shaken, I gulp to remain as calm as I suppose to be. I halted, and a curve appear in my lips. I said, “This place must keep as much as the world have ever known!”

The roaring continued but I didn't pay attention of it. Strangely, the pressure is restraining these creature, smashing them to the ground. I thought excitedly, “Perhaps the work of the blue light!”

“Aren't you going to leave?” A familiar voice disrupt my thought.

“You!” I face the direction it came from, but the glowing darkness only meet my eyes. No blue light!

“If this situation entertain you, please go,” the voice strangely weak that I suddenly stop, my face serious.

“Are you sick?” My voice shaky that I gulp and shook my head miserably. “No, don't answe that! My question is... What this place is?”

“You came here knowing nothing,” the weakened voice sounded amuse. “Fortunately, that's the case. The pressure here will smash all the knowledge you store in your being if ever!”

My eyes widened, couldn't believe the sudden thought that came to mind. “How do you know... I'm filled with knowledge?” I ask, my voice kind of hoping.

But the voice dismiss the idea, said in a wicked tone, “If I were you, I'll stop digging my own grave. Go now, before the pressure done restraining the others!”

The hope shattered in me, my mind spun and my heart shook to no end. I shouted to the glowing darkness, “You dare scram me?! You don't even confidence enough to show your face!”

I didn't thought much of my words, not even hoping anymore. I just can't stand being scram when I don't ask of it.

But I almost couldn't believe what happen next. I gasp, my eyes widened as I step back several times. The darkness seems like a wrapper lifted by some force, and the blue glowing light reveal to the world!

“I hope you don't regret it,” the voice so amuse, while a figure materialize within the sea of blue light. “I hope... you don't forget, my luna...”
