I stood near the wardrobe while contemplating on what to wear, my hands on my waist as I bit my bottom lip. “Still thinking, huh?” Kelly voiced out behind me and I flinched.

“Oh Christ!” I whispered and placed my hand on my chest. “I have warned you, Kelly. Stop doing that.” I muttered and fake a frown.

A smirk displayed on her face as she sat on the bed and stared at me. I pouted and moved closer to her.

“Why the sour face? You want to avoid seeing his parents?” Kelly asked me as she scanned my face for an answer.

“No that, I really want to meet his parents. It will be an honor, you know, but…”

“What is it then, you just said you would like to meet his parents.” Kelly voiced out anxiously and I sighed.

“I don't know if they will like me, I have spent hours thinking of what to say and what to wear. Look at me!” I said and point my hand at the towel tied around my chest.

“Stop the negativity, girl. Of course, they will like you. Don't you know you're a lot of vibe? You are cal
