Episode forty

He stepped in with a broad smile. I was leading the way into the sitting room. But I could feel his eyes on me.

I felt odd as I turned and faced him. "I brought you roses." He said and stretched forth his hand towards me revealing a beautiful set of rose flower.

Wow! My cheeks turned red..."thank you." I said and slowly accepted it.

He smiled and I had no choice but to reciprocate. Silence step in, it was a little awkward because I had nothing to say to him.

 I lowered my head as I admire the roses. Some part of my hair fell across my face and I delayed in tucking them in.

Mike noticed some of the hair blindly my left eye as he took two step closer to me. He moved again and help me tucked the hair. I raised my head with wide eyes.

As his hands grazed my face...there was this connectivity but I could not described it. He slowly took a step, it was just an inch that was separating us.
