RARING TO GO

The terror drawn over her face was too much to be hidden, she gasped in a silent plea of protest.

What had made her smack him hard on his chin, she could no longer decipher, it was just pure animal instinct running through her head.

His eyes were a darker shade of blue and she could see the fury whirling through his eyes and an invincible smoke puffing out of his nose.

She took a step back, and he walked closer, one more step back, and he took a step forward, and it kept going on and on, until she finally hit her back against the wall.

Fear crept fastly through her eyes and in her mind, her subconscious went back to how he had beaten the men in the club to a state of unconsciousness.

"Would he do the same?", she kept asking herself.
