CHAPTER 73: THE GREAT ESCAPE

Dazed and disoriented, Freya studied the white-haired woman who was inching closer to her. Her curvaceous body with her silver hair and milky eyes made her a looker. She was beautiful, but there was something so familiar about the woman, like she'd met her before.

Isis paused when she noticed Freya's confused stare. “It is I, child. Isis.”

“Wait, what? But you're supposed to be old.” Freya gasped.

“That's because she did something bad,” another voice made it through the rubble. Isis's gaze shot to the slender woman, pushing her body up off the ground and dusting the debris off her clothes.

“Prudence!” Isis yelped.

“Hello, Isis,” Prudence grinned. Tears pooled in her eyes as she pushed past her sister and fell into Isis's arms.

“Oh, my child,” Isis cried. “You're alive.”

“Yes. I am.”

“Wait, I don't understand. How do you look so young and fresh?” Freya wanted to know.

“Forget about that and come give me a hug,” Isis declared.

Freya rushed and dove into Isis's arms. “I'm so happy
