Adaline

I was compelled. That was the only explanation for why I had revealed Nyla's name. My mouth just moved without me wanting it to and I could hear one particular voice compel me, the voice of Alpha Grant.

I dare not look at the Empress after that confession, infact screw this, I need to flee the kingdom.

The entire room mummur at my confession, I doubt they would even believe me but here I am with no one by my side. "Adaline, are you sure of what you are saying?" The empress inquired, like she didn't have a part in this. I only nodded as the Empress turns to Nyla.

"Nyla is this true?" The empress could even sound a bit baffled, she just seemed disappointed, disappointed that her daughter was caught.

"No, Mother. Adaline must be confused. I didn't drug her, nor did I send men her way," Nyla asserts, casting doubt on the accusations. As tension fills the room, no one knows whom to believe.
