MEETING MY ALPHA LYCAN

MEETING MY ALPHA LYCAN (Weird Connection!)

Kayla's POV.

"You're nothing but a rejected Omega, and where rejected Omegas belong is where you will be!" Mrs. Draco stated, her words sinking into my heart like a heavy weight, intensifying the confusion that already consumed me.

"And where might that be?" I asked, my curiosity overriding the fear that crept within me. I couldn't help but stare at her from the back seat, hoping for answers.

I had no idea that they would be this intimidating. If I had known, I would never have willingly entered the same vehicle as them. I would have run for my life without a second thought.

Suddenly, the car abruptly came to a stop, but Mrs. Draco offered no response to my question.

I found myself growing increasingly perplexed and stunned as I tried to figure out our location.

The environment felt so cold and lifeless, a stark difference to the cheerful energy of the Silver Moon Pack.

It was evident that we had arrived in another pack, but the sense of unfamiliarity only heightened my anxiety.

"We are here, Kayla," Mrs. Draco announced, her chilling gaze fixed on me once again.

"Here... where?" I stammered, my body trembling with a desperate urge to escape and find comfort.

"You are now the Bride of Alpha Lycan Netayam Hale! He is the Alpha of the Ravenwood Pack"

"And under no circumstances should you ever dare to disrespect him! If you do, we will ensure you become nothing more than a mere slave!" Mrs. Draco revealed, her words causing me to freeze in shock and terror.

The mere mention of Alpha Netayam sent a chilling wave crashing over me, invoking thoughts of death and despair.

He was known for being a heartless, cold, and distant Heir; a dreadful Alpha Lycan of the most powerful pack, the Ravenwood Pack.

I had never seen him in person before, I had only heard stories about him. And those tales were far from encouraging; they painted a picture of a ruthless and merciless Alpha which I never desired to meet.

"The dreaded Alpha?" I muttered, my voice barely audible, lost in a sea of fear and trepidation.

"You better prepare yourself, Kayla! Don't mess things up for yourself!" Mr. Draco announced, his eyes still fixed on the road ahead.

"Please! I'll do anything to avoid him, anything at all!" I pleaded, tears streaming down my face as my hands clenched together in desperation.

"Your begging won't change a thing. Whatever the Alpha desires, he will have!" Mrs. Draco declared firmly before opening her door and stepping out of the car.

I wasn't entirely sure what she meant by the Alpha getting what he wanted, but one thing was clear; I wasn't going to let them have their way with me. I would fight against this fate they had imposed upon me.

"The Beta is here to escort you, Kayla! You have no other choice now!" she demanded, striding towards the back door of the car.

As Mrs. Draco approached my door and opened it from the outside, my instincts kicked in, and I seized the opportunity to escape.

Without a moment's hesitation, I bolted from the car, my heart pounding with determination.

"Of course, I always have a choice!" I muttered to myself, my voice filled with defiance as I sprinted faster and faster, refusing to look back.

"Kayla!!!" I heard Mr. Draco growl angrily from behind, but I had no intention of stopping. I knew that my only chance was to keep running.

Soon, I could hear the rapid footsteps of someone chasing after me, causing me to briefly glance over my shoulder.

To my surprise, a young and powerful looking werewolf, undoubtedly the Beta, was closing in on me.

"He's the Beta!" I whispered to myself, reaffirming the danger that pursued me.

Determined to save myself from the clutches of the forced marriage and the cold hands of the Alpha, I turned my focus forward and pushed my tired legs even harder.

With every ounce of strength I had left, I fought to save myself, my shoulders colliding with the rough bark of trees in the dense woods, my lungs struggling to catch my breath.

Just as I was about to make a sharp turn to the right and disappear from sight, my foot caught on a broken stem, causing me to stumble and crash onto the hard ground, covered in a carpet of dried leaves.

The pang reverberated through my body, and I winced in pain as my knees and hands scraped against the rough surface.

"Ahhhh!" I cried out softly, my voice laced with agony.

But I wasn't willing to end it that way! I instantly struggled to rise to my feet, knowing that my life depended on escaping.

As I attempted to regain my footing, my eyes caught the back sight of a manly figure standing a few steps away from where I had fallen.

Even from behind, he had an aura of power and strength.

It was clear that he was a tough werewolf, and I saw this as an opportunity to plead for his help, to beg him to save me from the relentless pursuit of the Beta.

He appeared to be in his thirties and the sight of him further fueled my courage to approach him.

I swiftly paced closer to him, desperately gasping for breath as I pleaded with all my might.

"Please, sir! I beg you, help me! I'm being chased, I'm in danger!" I begged, my voice filled with desperation, still gripping onto his hand from behind without catching a glimpse of his face.

"I could lose my life if you don't save me! I don't want to be forced into becoming the bride of a ruthless, heartless Alpha!" I continued, my heart pounding in my chest, fear coursing through my veins.

However, as I poured out my plea, I suddenly paused, sensing an eerie calmness emanating from him.

He remained mute, neither scared nor reacting to my desperate pleas.

And just then, the Beta's voice reached my ears, breaking the tense silence.

"ALPHA!"

He called out, coming to a halt as he approached us, his eyes darting between me and the man before me.

"Al... Alpha?" I stammered, my eyes widening in fear as I instinctively released his hand and took a step backwards.

"I see you're just like the rest, unwilling to accept a cursed Alpha Lycan as your fated mate!" he finally spoke, his voice deep and menacing, causing me to sink down to my knees in a mixture of fear and disbelief.

"Cursed?" I gasped, my eyes widening in disbelief.

"I didn't… I never…" I lowered my head, unable to form a coherent sentence.

Alpha Netayam was known for his ability to swiftly kill a lowly Omega like myself without a second thought and it made me terrified.

"I apologise for all the chaos, Alpha Netayam. I didn't mean to let..." his Beta began to apologise, but he was swiftly cut short.

"Get her out of my sight! I have no desire to involve myself with an 18-year-old Omega during the full moon tonight! My search for a bride ends here!"

Alpha Netayam commanded, his words cutting through me like a sharp blade.

"What?" In that moment, I felt a wave of sadness wash over me, knowing that he never wanted me anymore.

I should have been happy, I should have been glad because I would be free but then, it was different and I couldn't tell why.

For some reasons, I felt this intense connection towards him and it hurts to know that he never wished to see me again.

The ache in my heart only grew stronger, and I couldn't quite grasp the reason behind it.
