I had been back in Ohio for almost 3 weeks now. I had spoken to Bella and Julia a few times, Tina even called me once to see how I was doing, but I still hadn’t heard from Tank. I had finished work and decided to pick up Mexican for my dinner. I opened the doors to my apartment building and walked up the three flights of stairs to my apartment. As soon as I opened the door to my floor, I smelt something, something familiar. An aftershave. I couldn’t remember where I had smelt it before, but it made me feel nervous. And not in a good way. I looked around, looking for anyone that was responsible for the scent that was filling my nostrils, making my stomach churn. That was when I spotted it. A white rose. Stuck to my door. Fear washed over me, he was back, Mike was back.
