Unexpected Happiness

“Daniel!"

Audrey squealed in annoyance as Daniel continued to squeeze her body. The grip on Audrey's wrists tightened, and Daniel's eyes flashed with desire.

He didn't care how much Audrey struggled.

Every body movement created by Audrey made Daniel's libido increase. Even the sighs heard from the woman alone made Daniel's body hot.

Now Daniel's hands roamed all over Audrey's upper body until the woman cringed and felt pain. Pressing her hard, channeling the desire that was always held back when he was only able to stare at Audrey's beautiful body from the outside.

Audrey's eyes narrowed with a grimace. Daniel did not have a heart for her. He only used her as a tool to satisfy his lust. The man's tough demeanor did not once soften for Audrey. While in front of Patricia, Daniel's face instantly turned into an angel with all tenderness.

Audrey cursed inwardly. Regretting the love she had given to a heartless man like Daniel. Even though he had done everything he could to show his love, Daniel liked Patricia, the evil woman who had trapped him and Daniel.

The air conditioning in the car was quite noticeable, but Daniel's body was sweating. His movements to force Audrey required extra energy because she was always struggling to resist.

Daniel growled through clenched teeth. Both legs held Audrey's legs which continued to move. While one of Daniel's hands locked Audrey's hands above her head. There was no love, no tenderness in his every move, only lust that dominated.

 According to Daniel, this is quite appropriate for a wicked woman like Audrey, who married him just to use him.

Daniel was a fool, remembering that it only made his blood boil, he accelerated his movements, and his waist was forced to sway violently, no matter how Audrey's moans sounded in his ears. 

The car parked on the side of the deserted road seemed to sway violently due to Daniel's movements, until in the end he sighed with pleasure as he reached his release.

Audrey closed her eyes painfully. It wasn't just her body that was aching, but also her heart.

Once again she was treated like a cheap woman. 

Daniel deliberately trampled on her pride. Even though she had tried to resist and rebel, she still ended up under Daniel's yoke. What could Audrey do? She was just a wife to fulfill his lust.

The sound of a cell phone ringing distracted Daniel who was adjusting his pants. Daniel's forehead furrowed in surprise when he saw the name Bryan, Audrey's father, appear on his cell phone screen.

Without waiting any longer, Daniel pressed the button on the phone attached to the dashboard of the car. The loudspeaker mode was activated.

Before Daniel could say hello, Bryan's voice interrupted him. He sounded worried.

"Daniel, come quickly! Patricia has attempted suicide."

Hearing that, not only Daniel was shocked, but also Audrey widened her eyes, not expecting, but more dominantly not believing.

"W-what? How?!" Daniel's face changed instantly. It looked full of worry.

Audrey saw that and it made her heart cringe. Her husband was worried about another woman.

"Come quickly! Patricia wants to see you one last time."

Suddenly Audrey snorted with mocking laughter. For a moment Daniel turned to her with a displeased look, then returned to his cell phone.

"Sure, I'll be right there," Daniel replied before the line went dead.

Audrey, who had tidied up her appearance, could only shake her head after hearing that. Want to meet one last time? That sentence was ridiculous to Audrey, considering Patricia had previously said that she wanted to marry Daniel.

Audrey's body jerked as Daniel drove his car at high speed. Audrey turned to him with blazing eyes.

"You don't need to jeopardize our lives for Patricia's stupid charade!" Audrey jerked at him in annoyance.

Hearing this, Daniel turned his head angrily. "A charade you say? How can you say it was an act?! She's your sister! And you're not at all worried or anxious about it?"

Audrey looked away from the car window. She didn't answer Daniel's question again. If only Patricia had acted like a sister to Audrey, maybe Audrey would have worried about the woman more than herself.

Audrey was silent, Daniel snorted coldly and stopped talking. The atmosphere in the car was full of deadly silence.

The distance that should have taken an hour to travel, now Daniel only needed 30 minutes to reach it. He immediately got out and ran to the ward where Patricia was being treated.

While Audrey, who saw Daniel's departure in a hurry, only looked at him fiercely, even though she was still in the car and Daniel just left her.

Audrey's eyes heated up until tears fell down her cheeks. Audrey hurriedly wiped her tears, then decided to go home by taxi. She didn't want to see Patricia or get involved in their rotten charade.

Once home, Audrey went straight to her room and threw herself on the bed. She curled up as she remembered how Daniel had treated her earlier, without feeling her tears escaping.

The next day, the alarm sounded loudly. Audrey opened her eyes slowly. She turned to the side of the bed next to her and did not find Daniel there. Her lips smiled wryly.

Even the next day, Audrey still hoped that her husband would show up at the door. However, it was just a false hope. Daniel never came back. 

She stared gloomily at their wedding photo displayed in the living room. At this time, Patricia must be launching an action to attract Daniel's attention and seduce him to make him not come home.

Audrey was just about to walk down the stairs when suddenly her stomach felt an excruciating pain. Her body shook with cold sweat. Audrey's body collapsed on the steps as she clutched her stomach.

One of the maids who saw her squealed in shock at finding her helpless employer. Immediately, Audrey was taken to the hospital for examination.

"W-what, I'm pregnant, Doc?"

Audrey was shocked when she heard the doctor's statement. She was currently being examined at the hospital and was face-to-face with the friendly-looking doctor.

The doctor just smiled. "Yes, it's been two weeks. Congratulations, yes. Please take care of the womb. Don't think too much and work too hard."

Audrey nodded with a smile. "Thank you, Doc."

After the doctor left, Audrey looked down at her flat stomach and stroked it gently.

"Baby?" she whispered with a happy smile.

Audrey never thought that there would be a fetus developing in her womb. Audrey loves children, so no matter what the condition of her marriage with Daniel is, she will still give birth to this child.

Then her mind thought about telling Daniel about her pregnancy. Maybe this baby will bring a change in their household.

Arriving home, she immediately called Daniel's cell phone. Luckily, the man picked up, although Audrey had to try twice.

"I want to talk to you about something. Come home, we'll have dinner together," Audrey said.

She immediately made her point without further ado. Daniel was silent. There was no reaction from him. Audrey immediately understood that the man would not just comply with her wishes. She racked her brains again.

"Or, would you rather I go over there, and make a scene that will cause Patricia's health to decline?" Audrey said again, a little threateningly so that Daniel would comply.
