The police show us real-time images of what's happening at the location where I left the bag with the money. Hours have passed; David hasn't called again, but he hasn't gone after the money either. Both Brandon and I can't eat anything. Anguish takes over us. The worry about how our son is doing. Our little, fragile baby.
