01.The Inter-college Meet

I never thought college was fun. Because I always felt like I was the odd one out in that place.I never did belong with the other girls. I guess I was anti-social. They thought I was weird And I thought the same about them. 

It was boring yet a fine day until someone came to give some important information regarding some event that was to be held.

"Wait..what event?" I asked with inquisitive eyes.

Event? In St.Mary's this should be interesting! Yes, I was from Mount St.Mary's, LA.

Cherry (Someone whom only I got along within my class) Filled me in the details about the Inter - College Meet that was to be held in a week.

I didn't think much about it...Although my mind scanned my wardrobe for a perfect dress and shoes at that moment. Yes! I love looking good but it takes a lotta efforts to put it.

She shook me from my train of thoughts by giving more details our ICM is a 4-day carnival, More than 50 Universities are participating according to sources, The Students from other Universities will be staying in the visitor's block.

"I heard, there is gonna be a Masquerade Ball! " She exclaimed with utter excitement in her eyes.

"Although, I am not sure cause there some problem with the current theme."   She said suddenly.

"Well. I hope there would be a Ball! "  I said and gave her a bright smile.

"Hell yeah! I totally agree with you !"  She flashed a bright smile.

It was Friday in no time and The big day was tomorrow naturally everyone was excited.

REASON1: There would be cute new boys.

REASON 2: There was a last-minute thing about a " Ball "

Cause of the change in the Theme of the ICM.

Just like Cherry said I thought.

Although no one seemed to be upset about the change.

Since I was in the hostel had to do all my work by myself and I kinda miss mom, she gives awesome fashion advice while dressing up. I had my face pack on, the previous night of our big day and was all set.

It was a weird kinda excitement that didn't let me sleep that night.

Although the function was to commence at 4 o'clock in the evening, I started getting ready since the afternoon, after all, Becky and I were about to go for boy browsing.

"It's just another normal day!"  I said looking myself on the mirror.

That's was I thought!
