Was never a good mother

As Alana anxiously sat in the waiting room, her mind raced with worry and fear for Ricardo's well-being. The minutes felt like hours, and even breathing seemed to require an immense effort. Thoughts of the worst outcomes consumed her, threatening to suffocate her fragile hope.

“Relax Alana, he's going to be fine,” Brigitte whispered to her friend, urging her to keep calm in such a situation. Marcela placed her hand on Alana's shoulders, assuring her everything would work out fine.

Finally, the doctor emerged from the emergency room, his face calm yet weary. Alana's eyes locked with his, searching for any sign of good news. To her immense relief, he informed her that Ricardo had been shot in the arm.

“The bullet had fortunately not penetrated very deeply, leaving behind just a shallow scratch. But he'll be fine,” The doctor remarked assuredly, despite that, Alana wanted to see Ricardo.

“Did you hear that…he'll be fine, sweetie,” Marcela whispered with a smile.
