Chapter 16

Today was the day we would say our last goodbye to my dad, though he lived in our hearts forever. 

It was going to be a hard day for my sis, especially my mum. 

She was shouting out orders, trying to make the day go as planned, paying attention to the details such as flowers to be used to decorate his casket; his favorite, White Orchids. 

We had to give my dad the perfect ceremony he deserved. 

We invited a few people, close work buddies of his, a few family friends and families, and just one photographer. Everyone was running around, busy with the preparations for the funeral, while here I was locked up in my room, trying to write a tribute but couldn't seem to put a word down. 

Torn papers were scattered on the table and floor. I couldn't write down my feelings and angrily closed the book when my door rattled.

"Come in." It was probably Ana coming to tell me it was time to go to the cemeter
