I thought I'd be starting officially tomorrow, and also as a baker not a barista.

"What would you like to order?" I asked Ryker who stood in front of me with a tight smile.

"We'll take anything you have." He said as he looked at the cakes on display.

"Your order will be ready in a bit." I repeated what Lucy said to me this afternoon. They all went to the far end of the cafe to have their seats.

I have zero experience in being a barista, so Seth helped me to prepare a slice of cake and juice for each of them. I took the orders down to their tables and served them.
