Alexander's POV.

"The Luna?" I scoffed as I stood to my feet, diverting my gaze away from her before turning it back.

"I'd rather die than watch you become the Pack's Luna!" I asserted before I turned on my heels and intended to leave the house.

Seeing that Jackson didn't surface, it was obvious that he wasn't at home and I understood that part so well.

I was about to get out of their house when just then, Ava's voice pierced through my thoughts, halting me to a stop.

"Will you watch your Luna exit before you see the writing on the wall, Alexander?" She snarled as she stood to her feet.

She wanted me to let her have the place of the Luna but that was never going to happen. Not when she was the one who had always plotted evil against Summer.

"My mate won't die…I promised her that, Ava!" I declared before walking out of the house and heading for my car.

I bet she was going to be disappointed that I didn't give in to her trick but then, that was the best for both my boys and me.
