Chapter 5

Anna

Life has never been better. Everytime I woke up from sleep in the morning, I always checked to make sure Sean was still there beside me and all this wasn't some dream or joke.

The only thing that bothered me was that Sean had not marked me when we had sex for the first time. I wondered if it was normal for two fated wolves to have sex and not mark each other. It made me suspicious, but that suspicion was quickly beaten down when Sean said that he was waiting for the right time. He said he wanted to mark me in a very special way. Apart from the first time, we had had sex multiple other time, and it was all toe curling, but he still hadn't marked me, I wondered what was so special that he had been waiting for. Adelaide wasn't very happy about that, she hadn't even met Sean's wolf yet. I was able to talk her into being patient.

I was currently on my way to see Dave and my other former co-workers for the first time since I had found out that Sean was my mate. It had been almost a month and I missed them. Sean had been reluctant to let me go out. He offered to give me a ride but I refused. I had told him that I preferred walking and would be back before it was dark out before he finally let me leave the house.

I opened the door to the diner and the bell rang out. Everyone turned towards me and when they saw who I was, they all stood up.

"Welcome to Dave's…" Avery started but as she saw me, she stopped. They all bowed to greet me, being as shy and embarrassed by all the attention as I was, I bowed back to them before they sat.

"Well look who it is. Oh, am I supposed to address you formally now?" She asked coyly and I smiled at her.

I rushed over to hug her, but she resisted. She was a woman in her early thirties, and the only woman close to a friend that I had. She had been one of the only people that treated me well through out my life. I was lucky to have these few good people in my life.

"I'm sorry, please forgive me." I said smiling at her. She wanted to say something, but she was interrupted.

"If it isn't the future Luna of our pack. What could it be that we have possibly done for you to finally grace is with your presence." Dave said as he came out of the kitchen and rested on the counter.

"Oh come on, Dave. I'm really sorry for not visiting at least once." I said as I moved with Avery towards the high chairs in front of the counter to sit.

"No, no. You don't have to apologize to mere commoners like is, your highness." He said.

"Dave, stop. Don't make me seem like a bad person. I was as shocked as you when I found out. I never expected it. I really really never expected it." I said to him.

"I know, neither did any of us. It was just recently you were mocking Cherry Adams for wanting to me Sean's mate." I rolled my eyes.

I know, I was basically clowning myself.

"But seriously, I remember you always used to complain about how much of a jerk Sean was for the way he lived, and said you felt sorry for whoever his mate was going to be, but I guess you were just talking about yourself." He said and I snorted, recalling all the awful things I had said about Sean.

"You don't have to rub it in my face." I raised and eyebrow at Dave.

"So, how is he? Is he an asshole like you always thought he was?" Avery asked coming closer to me.

"No, not at all. He's one of the sweetest men I've ever met. I'm so lucky, Avery. I was wrong about him. He's made me the happiest woman in the world with the way he treats me. Do you know the best part?" I asked and she came even closer.

"His parents. They love their son so much and would do anything for his happiness. They treat me like their own daughter, especially Lorrie." I said and sighed.

"I'm so happy, I love him."

I sounded like a love sick puppy.

"Mhmm.. I can absolutely tell, you're calling the Luna by her first name." She said smiling at me and I hit her arm.

"I'm so happy to see you finally met someone that would take care of you. You deserve it after how much you suffered. I just wish I could have clawed out Justin's eyes with my own hands before he was banished." He said and my eyes widened.

"What do you mean banished?" I asked and he frowned.

"What do you mean, 'what do I mean'?" He asked, his eyebrows quirking up.

"You just said Justin was banished." I asked dand he nodded.

"You didn't know?" He asked confused and I shook my head.

"Well, he and Whiny Wendy were. After a public flogging that it. Well deserved." He said and I sat there shocked.

It was no wonder Sean didn't want to tell me. I didn't care about the flogging, but I didn't know how I felt about them being banished. After all, he was still my only living relative and they had taken care of me all the while.

After a while, Cole came out to quickly greet me before dragging Dave into the kitchen with him, saying something about burning the whole diner down. Immediately they left, Avery dragged her chair close to mine.

"So….." She trailed off and I narrowed my eyes at her.

"So what?" I asked and she smiled mischievously.

"Have you guys….. you know?" She said raising her eyebrows and squinting at me.

I let out a loud laugh as I understood what she was talking about. Avery really was crazy.

"I'm not answering that." I shook my head as I held back my smile.

"Ahhh.. you definitely have." She concluded. "But he hasn't marked you, right? I don't see any mating mark on your neck, and I don't really smell him on you." She asked and I sighed.

"Yeah he hasn't marked me yet, he says he's waiting for the 'perfect timing' as he put it, but Adelaide is on edge."

"Really, this is the first time I've ever heard of a mating ritual not being held even after having sex, especially for an Alpha since they're all possessive and shit." She frowned.

"Keep your voice down you don't know who could be listening." I warned and she shrugged. "Don't worry about me. I guess he'll do it in due time."

She nodded, going with what I said. I spent most of my day there, helping out where I could even though they hardly let me do anything.

I left and started my walk home. I skipped along the road humming a tune as I passed by pack members that stared at me. I felt like a Disney princess that was on her way to meet her prince.

By the time I reached the house, it was almost completely dark.

Ehhh, this should be good enough for him.

In the driveway, aside from Sean's car, was a parked car that I didn't recognize. Did we have a visitor? Sean didn't tell me someone was coming over. I opened the door and stepped in.

The house was a mess. There were clothes scattered on the floor everywhere and I was confused. Sean was a very clean person that liked keeping his things in order, he wouldn't purposely leave his clothes lying around on the ground. I heard muffled sounds coming from our bedroom, so I went closer. I placed my ears on the door and all o heard was the sound of Sean's moans.

I gasped as I stepped back. He was probably jerking off. I dropped my bag on the dinning table and smiled as I walked towards the door, thinking about giving him a hand, if you know what I mean.

I opened the door and what I saw behind it was an image I was not going to forget anytime soon.

On our bed was Sean, knelt behind Cherry Adams who had a gag in her mouth, his dick, fully hilted in her.
