127. A date?

Alex was sitting inside the car having Clara in his arms. She was shivering badly with even the air touching her skin. He recalled how he came to know about her.

Flashback

Alex searched for Clara everywhere. Jackson too was not there. He could feel the negative side. He saw Lian standing there in his nervous state. Lian is like an ant. Alex's one look.is enough for him to cough up the truth.

Before Alex could ask Lian, he got a call from Clara. Sighing in relief, he attended the call.

"How about I just misbehave with you and you can slap me again once you are fully awake?" Alex gripped the phone hard in his hand when he heard Jackson's voice.

"You have to drug me before even standing in front of me." Clara's laughter made Alex curious more about her. He didn't expect her to even reply to him. But her voice was shaky and Alex could feel that she was crying too. He felt rage to kill Jackson with his bare hands.

Alex grabbed Lian and slapped him hard over his face, gritting his teeth.
