A new journey.

SERENITY'S POV

I can't believe I was finally getting away from my pack and my family. No more abuse, no more mistreatment. I can finally not worry about constantly walking on eggshells.

I let myself relax while on the train.

It would be about half a day to get to the border and then a day to get to Moon River.

After an hour on the train, refreshments and snacks are brought round.

I got myself a cola and chocolate bar. It's something I haven't been able to ever try. I was very restricted in what my parents would allow me to eat and drink.

I was lucky to have 1 meal a day, and usually, it was a plain sandwich.

I was only ever allowed to drink water, never anything else.

I ate normal meals when Gran was still alive, but once she had passed, my parents changed that.

I was never allowed to dine with the pack, I was monitored while in the kitchen to make sure I never took anything I wasn't allowed to.

I enjoy my refreshments and then decide that I will rest as it's still awhile to my stop.
