The prayers of a sinner

Fog.

Giovanni is trapped in a dense curtain of fog, unable to see beyond his own bloodied hands…

And even though his legs continue to walk through the dark vastness, the fog never seems to end. As if walking in circles, somehow, he always ends up in the same place.

Eleonor's sweet voice calls him, and he continues to search for her, feeling despair growing in his chest because, no matter how hard he runs, no matter how hard he tries, he's unable to reach her.

He opens his mouth and fills his lungs before his head is submerged.
