Like a Hero?

"Actually, why did Gama accept you?" Glara asked, looking puzzled.

Bhuvi smiled and said she didn't know why Gama behaved that way. Honestly, Bhuvi didn't expect Gama to accept her so easily. Glara sighed upon hearing Bhuvi's answer, and she continued to gaze out of the car window.

"Why did you buy painting supplies?" Glara remembered Bhuvi's gift to her son.

"Because Gama likes it."

Bhuvi's brief answer didn't satisfy Glara. She continued to press Bhuvi to be straightforward about why she bought them. Bhuvi finally sighed and said, "Because, as far as I know, drawing can reveal someone's inner feelings. Who knows, through painting, we might understand what Gama is really going through and what he wants to do."

Glara felt slapped on both sides. After all, Glara, as Gama's mother, didn't know about this method. "No need to feel guilty. I already said I would help you."
