"Its been three days now since he left the house and yet no word from him." Laura said to her Mum. Her mum had called to know about Laura's progress in their plan.

"Don't worry. Perhaps, he is making a useless plan. You just need to watch out and be very careful. Did Lucy call you?"

"No Mum. Is there a problem?"

"Its just that she's been ranting about the whole thing"

"Don't mind her. Thats how she is" Lucy is her Little sister who is not in support of what her Mum and Sister were doing.

Laura bursted out laughing again "Geez. Mummy, you really did that?"

"Oh yes my Dear. I even recommended a makeup artiste to her" They both laughed. She really liked this mother in-law of hers. Such a funny woman with a good heart too but.... With the love they've grown to have for eachother, she wondered how Mrs Madu was gonna take the news about her.

Laura heard a car drive in and she shifted the curtains to see who it was. Lo and behold! Her husband and his annoying friend emerged out of the car. There was this lit of joy that cropped up in her heart, at least he is fine. I mean Physically okay.

"It seems someone just drove in" Mrs Madu said

"Yes Mummy. Its Phil and his friend"

"He is back so early?"

"Yes mummy. I guess there was less work at the office"

The door opened and the two men walked in. "Alright Mummy, I will talk to you later. I have to attend to my Darling husband" she said obviously to annoy her husband. Phil heard that and yes he was trully annoyed

"Bye Dear"the call got aborted. She turned her attention to the Men in her house. She flashed them a fake smile "I see you're back. How many days were you gone for? One two three who cares"

"Was that my Mum you were on phone with?" Phil asked ignoring her previous statement. There was just one woman she referred to as Mummy. His Mother.

"Oh yes. She sent her regards" she said

"This should be the last time you talk to my mother. A toxic woman like you shouldn't be close to decent people" Phil said

"Ouch! My heart. That hurts." She said jokingly trying to irritate him but deep down inside, it really hurt her. "Anyways, are you here to park your bags and leave? Then sue me" she asked as she sat on the three seated sofa.

Phil hissed and went upstairs. He has come back but there is no way he was going to share a room with the witch.

The footstep from the stairs got their attention. Why wasn't he holding a bag? She thought he was leaving.

"Are you done?" Chuks asked

"Yes. Lets go" Phil said as he came down the stairs. He didn't even spare her a glance before he left with his friend.

What did he go upstairs to do? She quickly left for the room and there it was, He has moved out of the room. Probably parked into a different room. "I guess, he is going to be staying for long" she said to herself.
