Over 9 months had passed and Beta Ryder was still yet to find a way to get Joan out. He visited her frequently to make her feel reassured.

It's been so long since I infiltrated Rex's house. I was never able to meet the maid again. She told me there was a way to find a tangible evidence but I couldn't get it from her before the guards drove me away.

The security at his house was thightened after that time and it was almost impossible to get In. But still, I found my way In without been noticed. I came in as a delivery man and thankfully, they fell for it.

I searched around for the maid but no one realized who I was talking about. After a long search, I asked one of the staffs about the night the house was infiltrated by a man and she told me the maid was fired that same night.
