“Hey; she shouldn’t be allowed to choose. Didn’t you hear me speak? She has been threatened, brainwashed and she’s a fool. She can’t make a decision. Let her stay with me.” Dexter yelled, and I closed my eyes as tears streamed down my cheeks.

“Cora Watson, who do you want to stay with? Alpha Leonardo or King Dexter?” I was asked again, and staring at Dexter, I could see he was blood thirsty.

“If you don’t choose me, it’ll be the end of Leonardo.” He mouthed to me, and I swallowed in fear.

“Cora, ignore his threats, I’ll be fine.” Alpha Leonardo told me through a mindlink and tears streamed down my cheeks.

Leonardo would never tell me he wasn’t fine. Even though he had a problem, at this crucial time that we were so close to being together, he would never tell me and staring at Dexter and the group of soldiers he had come with, all staring at us, blood thirsty, I didn’t know what to do.
