Izzy’s POV None of us got much sleep last night. I see Sunday’s eyes every time I close my own. I am scared for her. Looking at the clock to see the time. Five in the morning, Sunny and Nick finally fell asleep. I feel for the link to Caterina I need to speak with her. It opens with not much force. ‘Caterina can I speak with you in my office? It is almost time for me to feed the girls and get Rosie and Blair up for school.’ I told her. ‘Do you want my help getting them ready?’ she asks. ‘Yes, that would be great. Meet me in the nursery to help grab the babies, we will go talk and then get started for the day.’ I replied. ‘See you in a few.’ She cuts the link. I try to slide out of the bed without waking either of my mates. Sunny stirs after I stand up. I place a kiss on her forehead, and tell her to go back to sleep. “I am going to feed the babies and get the older girls ready for school. Go back to sleep, I'll be back up in a bit.” I say. She hums at me and I can hear he
Izzy’s POV Blairs room was done in pinks and purples, you know the typical little girls room. Butterflies were covering the walls. Stepping into her room I turn on the light, and touch her shoulder. “Blair hunny it is time to get up for school. I am going to go wake up Rosie and I will be back to help you get dressed. Grandma is fixing breakfast.” I say. She sits up, yawning big, and rubbing her eyes. “Okay mommy.” She says. Rosie’s room is done in similar colors, but instead of butterflies she has unicorns all over her room. Her comforter is a shade of magenta. I sit on the side of her bed. “Rosie Sweety, It is time for school. You have to get up and get dressed so that you have time to eat, and brush your teeth.” I say while brushing her hair out of her face. She sits up looking confused. “Zaden will be here to see you when you get home from school. Do you know what you want to wear today?” I ask her. “Can I wear a Black dress with roses on it? I want to wear my sparkl
Sunny’s POV Opening my eyes, the room is dark. I can still smell Izzy and Nick but it is faint. So it is probably from the fact that this is their room. I feel for the remote on the bedside table and push a button. The curtains open, making me close my eyes at the sudden intrusion of light spilling into the room. I sit up and stretch and let my eyes adjust to the light. The clock says that it is already eleven thirty. That means I have slept most of the day. Pepper is finally awake in my head and wants our mates, I can't help but agree with her. Sliding out of the bed I go to the walk-in to find something to wear. We were going to move my things last night, but we were all just too exhausted by the time we got all of the kids to sleep. Then Nick and I took turns getting up with her to help with the babies. Down the stairs I hear Izzy, Nick and Caterina talking. They all stop when I walk into the family room. Izzy smiles brightly at me and so does everyone else. The smiles are c
Zaden’s POV We had all of the usual greetings, and made small talk throughout the meal. Izzy was nervous and it was showing. Normally she is good at hiding her emotions around people. The tension rolling off of her was very noticeable. Able is watching her with me, she is making him anxious. He starts pacing in my head trying to find out if she knows what we have been doing. He is ready to get back to the pack house, I can’t say that I disagree with him. However, I desperately want to see Rosie. “Izzy, are you okay? You are acting a little off.” I say to her.“Are you finished eating?” She avoided my question. This only made Able more anxious and his anxiety started bleeding into me. Her eyes glaze over not giving me the chance to answer. Not five seconds later a door opens and one of the cooks runs out. She quickly collects all of the dishes, nodding to everyone at the table with a smile. She walks back to their pack house not saying a word. “Zaden, I want to talk to you about
Sunny’s POV It has been a very long day. My entire body is worn out, Caterina is staying here at the pack house again tonight. As well as Simon, they were going to take the first shift with the twins so that Nick, Izzy and I could rest some. Walking into the bathroom I turn on both shower heads. Izzy comes in behind me with towels. But I don't see Nick anywhere. Iz must have seen the question behind my eyes.“He is tucking Rosie and Blair into bed.” She says while pulling her shirt up over her head. She slips her shorts off leaving her in her underwear. Her skin is pale, her eyes glowing like always. Only now I can see something new there that wasn’t there before. Longing is what I see now, also some guilt. Although she has no reason to feel guilty. My eyes roam down over her body. All I see is perfection, my beautiful mate. She doesn’t even have a scar from the c-section Cas must have completely healed her or Crescenda one. She clears her throat making my eyes snap up to her
Izabella’s POV The front door to the pack house slams, making my head snap up at the sound. I got distracted from the task at hand which is scrubbing the floor, now the knees of my too small pants are soaked. Everyone is getting home. I have to get dinner started but if I don't finish this, I will definitely be hurting in a little bit. I quickly finish and dry the floor, running down the stairs as quickly and as quietly as possible. I step into the kitchen and start pulling stuff out of the fridge. I am running so behind tonight so this is going to have to be something fast. Grabbing the hamburger meat from the bottom drawer. I pull spaghetti noodles from the pantry along with an onion, the pasta sauce, and the garlic from the shelf. Spinning around to face the kitchen I walk straight into the one person that has hurt me even more than my father, my mate who rejected me. Andrew Marks! My heart breaks everytime I see him, but he is in love with another. I try to push all of my f
Izzy's POV It's finally dark outside. I get up and start working on my escape but it has to be quiet. I slide my dresser over in front of the door. I wince as it makes a noise, but I don't hear footsteps so that's a good thing. I continue to push everything in front of the door. Once I am finished with that I double check my bag to make sure I have everything that I need. A change of clothes that are too small, check. Broken hairbrush, check. The little bit of money I have been skimming slowly over the last two years, Collecting change from the washer. I have it in a sock in the bottom of my old school bag inside of my duffle bag. I have a paper with where I plan on going there too. I zip my bag back up, and open the window. I sit there waiting for the footsteps that I know are going to come. Dad has to get his daily quota on beating me. I shake my head at the thought. I sit watching the moon, it is full tonight. The glow is mesmerizing and has me distracted for some time. I can
Nick's POV I was walking back to the bed from the bathroom. I have been exhausted the last couple of weeks, I am acting Alpha right now. Dad is letting me take over the pack next month. I already know how to do the job but we decided to wait until summer. I'm okay with it. The mind link opens “Uhhh, Alpha we have a rogue, I just caught their scent.” One of my pack members Mason tells me. “On my way!” I cut the link grabbing my shorts from the floor. I take off running, no sense in putting them on now, I have on boxers. They are just going to shred when I shift anyway. I hear howl's ring out from my right and my wolf Caius forces the shift grabbing the shorts in his mouth. I open the mindlink to Mason. “Mason what is going on?” I am anxious for some reason. “Alpha, she is mesmerizing. You should see her.” I hear pure awe in his voice. “What do you mean, mesmerizing? And did you say she?” Completely shocked, we never had a she-wolf rouge before. No one that was alone anyway. “
