Chapter 34

Footsteps echoed in the dank warehouse as the man continued strolling down the familiar place. The same warehouse that once belonged to the Connor family was now their opponent's base. The same place where he betrayed his own family. The same place where he put his father in danger. The same place where he used to enter as if he owned it was not theirs anymore. The memories flooded in one after the other and only made Vincenzo's hand clench with anger. Only if he was not greedy for power, things wouldn't have been the way they are.

Walking through the familiar aisle, he kicked open the door of the main room of the warehouse. Nothing was heard except the loud thud. The place was pin drop silent.
