Chapter 12

Dante entered the club and made his way straight to the office to see anything unusual. It was still day time so the club was empty. Nothing seemed out of place but the slight eeriness in the air gave it away. He knew something was off.

He carefully roamed his eyes over the empty hall before finally making his way to the office desk. He saw everything was in place. It was then something caught his eye. One of the drawers was slightly open. Just enough to slip a few papers inside. It was odd because all of the drawers in the office were locked and Vincenzo had the keys to them. Someone had broken the lock.

He immediately opened the drawer and fished through the various papers that were stocked in it, when a specific paper caught his eyes. More likely a picture. He gently grabbed the picture and what he saw made his blood boil. It was a picture of Lily and Rose laughing together. To be honest it was a very lovely picture. What made his blood boil was the Red Cross drawn over it w
