     Slasssshhhh~...

     A single swing of Alexis's scythe cut the two vampires apart and turned them straight to ashes.

     "Th-that's a mystical weapon! This girl is an intruder! Kill her!"

     Alexis showed off her trademark innocent expression to the few vampires that charged towards her. "Are you uncles going to attack a girl like me at the same time like this? Now I'm confused, can I still call you Uncles or Aunts?"

     The battle between Alexis and dozens of vampires who filled the front yard of Vincent's mansion was unavoidable.

     With movements that seem soft but deadly, Alexis seems to be dancing with the scythe which is her mystical weapon. She continues to attack and dodge every attack given by the vampires. Her steps are graceful, her body movements are very beautiful, and her hands continue to play the scythe that she held like she is a goddamn professional dancer.

     It was easy for Alexis who wielded a special weapon to kill the vampire to defeat them.

     The longer the time, the more vampires that arrive. Not only Alexis, but Reinhard also continued to assist Alexis' battle from afar using his rifle.

     "Hey, isn't this too easy?" Alexis asked Reinhard through their communication channel while continuing to fight against the vampires.

     Reinhard kept his gun pointed at the vampires trying to surround Alexis, always killing five vampires with one shot. "Don't be careless, they're just low-level vampires. According to the info I got from Damien, Vincent has at least three high-level vampires whose strength is almost on par with noble vampires."

     "Is that so?" asked Alexis who had just slashed the last three vampires. "But why are there only two of them?"

     "What do you mean?"

     Alexis pointed towards the front door of Vincent's mansion and there stood two vampires who had different auras from the vampires they had encountered before.

Both vampires wear the same mask. The difference is the horns on the mask. The vampire on the left has a horn on the right side of the mask, while the other one on the left side of the mask. "Are those two you mean?"

     "Yes, but there should be three."

     Woosshhhhh~...

     The wind blew right behind Reinhard, making him turn around. Reinhard jumped as far as he could. Right in front of him was a vampire wearing a mask with a horn in the middle of the mask.

     "Looks like the other one we're looking for is here," Reinhard said on the communication line with Alexis.

     "Really? That means I don't need to be wary of sneak attacks, just face these two ugly-ass clowns, right?"

     "Still, don't let your guard down. They are high-ranking vampires. Once I'm done with the ones here, I'll be helping you again right away." Reinhard said while pointing his gun at the vampire in front of him.

     Bang!~...

     A silver glowing bullet shot towards the high-ranking vampire in front of him. But the bullet was parried with his bare hands. The vampire looked at the palm of his hand that was holding the bullet from Reinhard, and there was a burning hole there.

     "This wound can't be healed. Looks like it's a mystical weapon. Are you from the rebel group that the kingdom has been hunting for all this time?" asked the vampire who didn't get an answer from Reinhard. "I guess so. That means I really have to exterminate you."

     Reinhard took out the two daggers that had been wrapped around his waist. The dagger is also a mystical weapon given by Damien.

      Seeing that Reinhard still had a mystical weapon besides the rifle he was holding earlier, the high-ranked vampire who was standing in front of him let out claws that seemed to be growing from the tips of his fingers. The vampires started to charge towards Reinhard.

     Clanggg~...

     Daggers and claws clashed against each other.

     While the two vampires who are now dealing with Alexis also do the same thing. Their claws clashed against Alexis's scythe.

     It seemed like tonight's hunt would be much more difficult than they had been so far.

     The long claws of the two high-level vampires that continued to attack Alexis made the girl unable to get out of her defensive position.

     During the few minutes the battle lasted, all Alexis could do was parry attack after attack that the two top-tier vampires had launched at her.

     The relentless attacks didn't even seem to give Alexis a chance to counterattack at all.

     Their fight looks balanced. However, it wasn't long before the girl ran out of energy. Of course. A human who fought two high-level vampires at once. No matter how strong the girl is, she still won't be able to keep up with the increasingly one-sided battle.

     Scratchhh~...

     The clothes Alexis was wearing were torn off when she was caught off guard in the final attack. Blood spilled out of the torn wound. Human blood always makes vampires more excited. Of course, after smelling blood from Alexis's wounds, the two top-level vampires increased the intensity of their attacks.

     On the other hand, Reinhard had not shown any progress either. Even though he only faced one top-level vampire, unlike Alexis who faced two top-level vampires at once. However, it seems that their strength can not be underestimated.

     Reinhard lowered his head to dodge the sharp claws of the top-tier vampire he was fighting. Trying to counterattack by swinging one of the daggers he held in his right hand.

     Clanggg~...

     The vampire parried it. Reinhard spun around and tried to attack him again. And the same thing keeps happening. All the attacks that Reinhard tried to carry out were always repelled by the top-level vampire.

     Now and then he looked down the hill where he was. There, he could see Alexis getting cornered.

     "You're fucking kidding me! I can't stay here any longer."

     Bammm!~...

     Reinhard landed a kick that the vampire could parry. Although the attack can be blocked, the real purpose of the kick is not to attack his opponent, but to put some distance between the two of them.

     Reinhard was trying to give himself some time.

     After successfully increasing the distance between himself and the top-level vampire who was his opponent, Reinhardt threw one dagger at the vampire who was standing a few meters in front of him. As expected, the dagger was successfully deflected. And since he had only one hand holding the dagger, his one free hand reached into the pocket that was on the inside of his robe.

     Reinhard took out a box of chewing gum.

     Yep, a box of chewing gum. And of course, it made the vampire he was currently facing look confused.
