“Any news yet?” Sandra asked me the moment she walked downstairs, I dropped the phone and shook my head. She sighed and sat on the couch, I know that somehow Sandra blames herself for being a careless mother. She thinks If she was careful enough her kids won’t go missing.

“Calm down Sandra.” I said to her when I saw the look on her face. I don’t know what the aim of the kidnappers is because they haven’t called or texted since the day they took the kids away.

“I’ve been calm for days, I even suspected Susan, you know it.” Tears welled down from Sandra’s eyes as she was speaking to me, just as we were talking Cassie walked into the house. She looked like she saw a ghost from where she was coming from.
