CHAPTER 7

RAVEN

I WAS AWAKENED by something warm touching my skin. "We're here, Ysobella."

I quickly straightened in my seat when I heard Alpha Lucien's voice. Heat crawled on my face when I realized I was leaning on his shoulder the whole ride.

"Pardon me for falling asleep, Alpha Lucien." I played with my fingers because of embarrassment.

A low melodic chuckle escaped his mouth. I stiffened when I felt his hot breath in my left ear. "I don't mind," he said.

I tried closing my eyes to calm myself. His deep, raspy voice sends a tingling sensation in my body. When I opened my eyes, Alpha Lucien is already sitting inches away from me.

"Shall we?" he asked while holding the door. I just gave him a simple nod as a response.

He got down first and like a gentleman, he gave me his hand so he can guide me.

As promised, Logan made me cookies, which surprisingly tastes good. He baked plenty so he shared it with Nana and Mama Melly as well. We were having a good time when I heard a familiar v
