Chapter 2

No no no. This cannot be happening. Not again no!!

"Mate mate mate mate, I want mate!" Belle keeps on shouting in my head.

" Shut up Belle! He is NOT our mate! " I growl and block her out when she starts to try and take control but I push her to the far back of my mind.

"I am NOT your mate!" I say and hold onto Tyler's arm.

I hear his mate Justin growl and I mind link him "I'm sorry but i need you to play along" and he agrees .

Tyler also agrees amd he puts his arm around my waist which causes my so called 'mate' to growl and look down .

He takes dangerous steps towards the border and menacingly in a very deep voice says "One last chance sweetheart , if he doesn't move away from you I am going to break this border and I will kill him" his threat held so much promise and I don't want to risk the lives of my pack especially when I don't know if he's actually capable of living up to his threat.

"Do not call me sweetheart and you will not be killing anyone. I do not want blood on my hands so I propose a deal" I say and Tyler walks to his mate.

"Leave my territory and never come back . Im sure your intention was never to discuss the treaty so cut to the chase and spare me the bullshit" I say and just as I'm about to signal my pack to leave , the unimaginable happens .

He snaps his finger and he walks up to me . Everyone else is frozen in their tracks. Literally.

"Alpha we can't move! "

"We can't speak !" Tyler, Jake and Justin scream through the mind-link.

"Calm down okay everything will be okay." I noticed his pack are quietly standing in their places but they weren't bound by whatever spell my pack was. I also noticed that his spell isn't working on me.

He looks up and I notice that his orbs are a dark red. They are so beautiful. His finger caresses my face and it causes tingles to shoot all over my body. My wolf purrs in ecstasy.

This has to be the best feeling in the world but I move my face to the side to remove his touch. Im not giving in that easily and I answer to no men not even him.

"Heres how this is going to work.when i came here, my plan was to destroy you and your pack but now I've had a change of heart. " he says with a smirk.

"Is that right? And why is that " I ask sarcastically

"My initial plan was to come here and kill you and all of your pack members but looks like the goddess has other plans. Now that I have found my mate , I say we turn our packs into one and together we become the most powerful pack in the world." He says seriously and I laugh.

It goes on for a few more seconds and I wipe the tear under my eye.

"Alpha... what do you call yourself and your pack "

"I am alpha Andrew Mariano of the darkmoon pack " he says confidently.

"Right your pack is second to mine. Is that why you came here? To kill me and my pack because you hate that you're second to a female? " I ask smugly and I see his eyes turn black but the red was still there. I think his wolf took over .

Im supposed to be terrified of this person infront of me yet I am not. My pack members are still try to move but whatever hold he has on them is firm.

"Listen here little alpha, no one talks to me that way and no one has lived to the next day if they have. Dont think that just because your my mate I won't punish you. " he says huskily and I narrow my eyes.

"Let me make it easy for you. I Manuella Queen reject you Andre- mmmmm" I couldn't finish my words because he kissed me.

"Ooh this feels nice" Belle purrs and I do agree with her but I push him away and give him the death glare.

I slapped him and my eyes turned purple with fury.

"Don't you ever do that again and I mean ever. You will regret it. Take your pack and leave. Remove whatever spell you have on my pack now! " I command in my alpha tone and my pack people all bow including his pack .

"With a snap of my finger I will kill all your pack members. I am giving you two options seeing as you are one that hates following instructions. Our packs join and become one or I kill every one and take over and there will be nothing you can do about it" he says in his alpha tone but he says it calmly which is scary.

"What are you? " I ask lowly even surprising myself

"I am your mate" he says in a duh tone and I roll my eyes which causes him to growl.

"Let my pack go and we will talk" I say ignoring his previous statement.

He puts his hands down and I see my pack members ready to shift but I mind-link them "go back to the pack house and lets welcome our guests " I say tiredly

"Are you sure alpha? " he asks worridly and I see everyone has the same look on their faces.

I nod and they all shift and run towards the pack house. I turn to his pack and say "step into my territory and follow the rest of my pack but I warn you hurt any of them and they will kill you. They are trained smarter and faster than any of you so think twice." I say and they all look at me terrified.

Good they should be afraid but that is me being nice.

I turn to my mate and narrow my eyes at him.

"You know you can keep on looking at me like that all you want but it won't make me dissappear."

"Then leave let me reject you or you reject me and we get this over with." I say and Belle whimpers which causes my heart to drop. I see that Andrew has a small sad look on his face but it dissappears just as fast.

"I will not let you reject me and I certainly will not do the same. As much as we don't want this I won't risk my demon wolf going insane. " he says frustrated and I stare at him in shock.

We walk to the stream on the corner alittle far from the border and I take a sit.

I face him and gulp. Its now or never, he needs to tell me what he is.

"Did you just say demon wolf? Wha- how? That's impossible they don't exist" I say very confused and stare at his beautiful blank face.

"How can someone so beautiful belong to me. I can't wait to have a taste of him" Belle says and heat moves all over my body.

I look at my reflection so that he doesn't see how I look.

"Belle stop he'll smell my arousal. You're in so much trouble"

"My father is a demon and my mom was a wolf. My mom was just an innocent she-wolf that fell into a demons trap and happened to be his mate. It was a forbidden romance because my grandparents didn't know what their child will be and they were afraid I would be more powerful." He says and I notice that he speaks so sadly of his mom.

A feeling of sadness runs through me but they are not my emotions. They're his, I guess the mate bond is passing his emotions onto me. I have the sudden urge to comfort him but I stop myself.

"What happened to your mom?" I stupidly ask before I can stop myself

"You don't have to answe-" I say but he stops me.

"She died giving birth to me." He says simply and I freeze in shock.

"Its getting dark , we have to get back to the house so that you can settle in" I say as I get up and he follows.

After the surprisingly not akward quiet walk back to my pack house I stop him a few feet and give him a small glare "Don't get your hopes up Andrew, the only reason I am letting you stay here and have not rejected you is because my wolf wont be able to take that again. Not because im afraid of you , I know I can take you out. Stay out of my lane and I'll stay out of yours." I say and walk inside leaving him on the porch.

I see that everyone is already settled in and some are already in bed including the dark moon pack members. Tyler made sure that the other pack have no funny business planned and confirmed that we are all safe.

I make my way to my alpha quarters , take a quick shower and go to bed.

"This is the most exhausting day ever. " I say to no one in particular and Belle responds

"Thank you Manuella. "

"For what? "I ask already knowing the answer.

"For keeping our mate around. "

I ignore her and start drifting off to sleep with a lot of questions in mind but one in particular keeps on surfacing.

"How do I have a second mate?"
