WE NEED TO GO

Shawn and Queen left the waterside and ran to the road. They knew that the Stallions were still on their trail, so they had to get to a safe location as soon as possible.

"I have a house that's closer to this place," Shawn said to her.

Queen looked at him and nodded. In no time, they were able to hitch a ride. Initially, she had wanted them to take a taxi, but Shawn said it was better to hitch a ride. So, a good Samaritan drove them to their location.

Shawn thanked him before he left, and they made the remaining journey on foot while running.

When they arrived at his house, Queen asked, "Why did we have to hitch a ride?"

He said, "Because I don't need them tracking the vehicle we used."

"Oh, okay, it seems you have houses scattered around."

"Well, this is not really a house, it's just somewhere I come to chill and workout sometimes, but you're right. I do have more than eight apartments in this city." Shawn said.

"What? Eight apartments? You're just one man. Why do you have so many houses? Do you have families scattered around?"

Shawn laughed and shook his head, "No, I don't."

"Okay.....," Queen said. "Is it possible for me to change my clothes?"

"Yeah, there's a store around, I'll just get some clothes and food for us," Shawn said before walking out.

Queen sat on a chair waiting for him. She inspected the flash and sighed in relief when she noticed it was still in good condition.

Shawn came back and threw some clothes at her with some snacks he bought.

She went into the bathroom and changed into the blue jeans, white top, and new sneakers he had gotten. Her hair was wet but that was the least of her problems.

When she came out, she noticed that Shawn had also changed his clothes.

He smiled pointing at her body, "Everything seems to fit perfectly. I did a good job."

Queen smiled back and said, "Thank you for everything. I need a computer."

"Alright, hold on," Shawn replied.

He went into his study while eating the snacks he had gotten, took one of his laptops, and gave it to her, saying, "Use this, it's mine."

"No," Queen said, throwing her snacks on the chair, "I need a brand new laptop."

"All the laptops here have been used by me, so you just have to make do with what I have."

"I can't use this." Queen gave the laptop back to him.

"Come on, Queen, you can't be so picky in a situation like this. I am being very helpful here." Shawn became put off by her behavior.

Queen sighed, "I need a laptop that is not very useful because once I take off this flash, it's going to self-destruct."

"Really? You're not making this up, are you?" Shawn was surprised.

"I'm not making it up," Queen said.

"Okay, umm, in that case, let me see." Shawn went back to where his laptops were kept and brought out another one. "Here, I hardly use this, I guess I can afford to give it up."

"Thank you," Queen said.

She took the laptop from him and inserted the flash drive. Afterward, she began to input different passwords; it kept taking her through different layers until when it got to the one she really wanted. She realized that the password had been changed.

"Oh, no, no, no, this cannot be happening," she lamented.

"What is it?" Shawn asked, running to her side. "What's in there?"

"None of your business," she replied.

He shook his head and walked away.

She typed in different passwords to unlock the last layer to see what she was looking for but nothing worked. She screamed, "Damn it."

"What is the problem?" Shawn asked. "You know I can be of help."

"No, you can't. Ughhhhh," Queen groaned.

"What?" Shawn asked. "Did the flash drive turn out to be useless?"

Queen sighed, "No, it didn't. I'm seeing most of the information I need, but then the password to the most important information is hidden in the fifth layer, and I can't...... ugh, I need to get to Miami."

Shawn walked up to her, folded his arms, and stared at her as she closed the laptop.

"What exactly is in Miami, Queen?" he asked.

Her eye suddenly twitched, and she looked behind her before turning back to stare at him. "Are you expecting any guests?" she asked.

"No," Shawn replied.

He turned his attention towards the window and screamed, "Queen, get down."

Shawn took Queen with him and they both fell on the ground, and bullets began to fly into the house as guns were fired from all around.

"We need to crawl out," Shawn said, "Crawl out as quickly as possible."

They began to crawl towards a room until they were out of the living room. All the windows in the living room had been broken down, and in no time, one of the wild Stallions threw in an object and everywhere was covered with smoke.

Shawn held Queen by the hand and ran towards the back. When they got to the staircase, she paused, "Oh no, shit!"

"What is it?" he asked.

"The flash drive, I forgot the flash, I need to go back for it," Queen replied.

"No, Queen, you can't go back for it, we need to go right now. There are so many of them, and they all have weapons. Come on, let's go."

Shawn held onto Queen, wanting to take her away, but she pulled her hand away, "I will not leave without the flash drive."

"It's no use to you if you are dead." Shawn reminded her.

"I am going back in," she said and ran inside.

"Damn it, Queen! Queen!" Shawn gritted.

The moment Queen went back, a man pointed his gun at her and pulled the trigger, but she quickly went to the ground, somersaulted, and kicked his legs, causing him to fall on his face. She took the gun from him and shot him immediately.

While she was still on the ground, she heard a loud bang and turned; she was surprised to see that Shawn had just shot one of the men dead. She hadn't noticed him earlier, and if it weren't for Shawn, he would've killed her.

She turned and stared at Shawn, "Thank you."

"Anytime," he replied. "But Queen, we need to go."

"Where did you get a gun?" she asked him.

"This is my house, what did you expect?"

She put the gun behind her pants and cautiously walked into the living room, but then she realized that there was no one. Everywhere was scattered, and littered with broken glass especially.

She rushed towards where she had earlier left the laptop, but it wasn't there.

"This cannot be happening," she said weakly.

She looked all around but could not find the laptop. She looked through the window and saw the men getting into their cars. There was a black Jeep and a red Sienna. Three men got into the Sienna, and two got into the Jeep. One of the men who got into the Sienna held the laptop with the flash connected to it.

Queen stood there and said, "No, I need to go after them, why are they leaving? No, I need to get the flash drive."

She wanted to run after the men, but Shawn held her hand and said, "Come on, we'll get it next time."

"No, they can't get their hands on what is in that flash, don't you understand?"

"Alright, come with me," Shawn replied.

He led her towards the garage and took out a bike; it looked rusty, and she asked, "Is this going to work?"

"Just get in," Shawn said after checking the tank.

He got onto the bike, and Queen sat behind him, and he began to chase after the cars.

"We're never going to make it," Queen complained.

"I know a shorter route," Shawn replied.

He stared at the cars, which were a long distance from them, and took another route. Queen stared at the red car going away in the far distance as Shawn took a shorter route.

"How do you know where they're going?" she asked.

"Like I told you, I've done my homework," Shawn replied.

He drove over to a location and waited; the road that led to where they were was below, and from where they stood, Shawn leaned the bike on the wall and said, "Come with me."

They went lower and hid themselves, watching as the cars approached.

Queen spotted the red car and said, "There. That is it. I need to get on that car, I need to get to a lower ground."

Shawn watched her as she hurried downward and waited for the car. After the jeep passed and the red Sienna also drove past, Queen jumped on the red Sienna. Meanwhile, the jeep drove away without realizing what had happened behind.

As she jumped on the Sienna, the driver swerved the car, and she instantly fell off the car, falling to the side. The sienna stopped, and one of the men pointed his gun at her to shoot; however, she rolled her body downward to the side of the road.

As she did, she lost control of her movement and kept rolling until she ended up hitting her head on a tree and blacked out.

Seeing what had happened, Shawn targeted the tires of the Sienna and began shooting at them. Fortunately for him, he had picked up a silencer before they left the house, so the men who were in the jeep still did not realize what was happening.

Shawn kept shooting at the Sienna until two of the tires became punctured. He accidentally shot one of the tires of another car that was driving past, and the driver ended up veering in the wrong direction.

"Sorry," he mouthed and closed his eyes before opening them again.

When the sienna stopped, Shawn knew it was only a matter of time before the men in the car came out, so just like Queen, he went lower and jumped on the car.

As he landed on the car, he moved behind it and stood at the back, waiting. The men came out and began shooting at him, but he kept moving around the car until two of the men decided to trap him by going clockwise and anticlockwise.

It backfired as Shawn figured out their plan, rolled under the car, and shot their legs before coming out to finish them off. It was left with the man who was holding the laptop.

He had remained in the car and called one of the men in the jeep for backup. He thought the two men who had gone out would be able to take care of Shawn.

When he realized they were dead, he cocked his gun but noticed they were no bullets inside. He was reloading his gun when Shawn put his hand into the car and took out the laptop which was on the man's thigh.

The man quickly pointed his gun at Shawn as he came out of the car. Shawn pointed his gun at him as well.

"Let me have the laptop back," the man said.

"I don't think so," Shawn replied.

The underling smiled, "Well, let's see whose gun is faster."

Shawn recalled what queen had told him and said, "Okay, there's no need for us to throw our lives away. You want the laptop, fine, take it."

"Let me have it," the man said, still pointing his gun at Shawn.

Shawn was still pointing his gun at him when he handed the laptop over to the man. The moment the man took the laptop from him, Shawn pulled off the flash drive.

The man shot at Shawn but he ducked. However, the bullet pierced his shoulder and he rolled down the side of the road while holding onto the flash.

Seeing that Shawn had rolled off, the man, who had no idea of what was about to happen, placed the laptop in the car so he could go after Shawn for the flash.

The laptop exploded and the car went up in flames consuming the man. Seeing this, Shawn heaved a sigh of relief.

He looked around and noticed Queen a little distance from where he was. At this point, she had opened her eyes and was trying to get up. He saw the black Jeep coming back and knew that they couldn't stay there any longer.

He ran to her and said, "Queen, Queen, are you okay?"

She had hit her head, and there was blood dripping from the side of her face.

She stared at him and said, "You are bleeding. Were you shot?"

"Come on, we need to go," he said.

She quickly got up and they held hands and began to run. As they ran, the men in the jeep came out of it and began to chase after them.

The two men kept firing shots at them, but they continued running. Since they were in between the trees, they were able to evade the men until they finally got to a market.

The market was crowded but it turned out in their favor. After running for a while, Shawn led Queen into a fabric shop.

They hid in a corner, of the shop and Shawn said, "It's just two of them, I think we can take them."

"No, they're more than two," Queen said.

"Really? I thought they were just two men in the jeep."

"I saw more than that," Queen replied.

Queen's eyes suddenly widened as she remembered something, "Oh, my God! The flash, I didn't get it."

"I did," Shawn said.

He put his hand in his pocket, took out the flash, and showed it to her, "I have it with me."

She stared at him with admiration in her eyes, "Thank you so much."

"Anytime," he replied.

He gave the flash to her and she wore it over her neck, while they remained in the same spot waiting.

When they realized that other customers had begun to stare at them, Queen said, "We can't stay in this position. We need to do something. I don't have my gun with me, do you have a weapon?"

"Forget about it," Shawn replied, "We can't use a gun here; this place is too crowded, and we might end up killing an innocent person."

Queen nodded. She looked at his eyes and asked, "What are we going to do?"
