Chapter: Verona and Siana's backstory

Siana stood frozen in a corner as her body refused to move. The huge building in front of her overwhelmed her. A lot had changed within a year. She was taught the manners of the modern world and living an urban life. Since her birth, she had been brought up according to the royal traditions and she did know a lot of things that other people did; her life was a little too fancy to live a normal life but now things were about to change.

So now, here she was in a new city with her foster family away from her home and her mother, the only family she had. She was enrolled in a new school and she was excited to meet new people but the thought terrified her at the same time as she had not known many people except for her family and Karissa.
