We had been sitting getting to know each other, Hada was such a sweet little thing. She clearly was close to my mate and I appreciated him for looking after her. There is a knock at the door to my room before Ezekiel pops his head around.

“Hey, I just wanted to check on you?” My father says with a shy smile, we are still in the getting to know each other stages of our new father and daughter relationship.

“Of course come in” I flash him a warm smile and wave him in. He ruffles Hada’s hair as he comes over, he stands looking uncomfortable at the side of the bed.

“Ok Hada, let's get you back, you can come see Nari tomorrow, we can bring Psalm.” Kurat says to a disappointed looking Hada, until the mention of her new little friend. Hada comes and gives me a hug with her tiny frame, making my heart contract at the thought of what she’s been through.

“I'll see you tomorrow, big sister” She says the last bit with a huge smile on her face, i can't help but chuckle.
