Ryan swerved the car wildly as he drove into the car park by the side of his house. They hurriedly got down the car and ran to the house with their heads protected from the rain using a black jacket Ryan had forgotten inside his car the last time he used it; only this time the jacket had served a purpose. It rained heavily on this day that was once sunny and bright, now it was dull, wet and cold.Lara and the detective dodged into the corridor of the townhouse and continued the run up the stairs. Finally they reached the door to Ryan's apartment, both of them rushed into the apartment at the same time as though they were still being pursued by the rain... which was obviously outside! They held and supported each other to regain their balance after they had collided into each others legs, I guess it seemed funny to Lara caused she had burst out laughing, she laughed so heartily that Ryan had no other choice but to join her too. After all; they say laughter is contagious. After a series

Lara continued to run up the stairs in her black heels, “Shit! I can’t run in these anymore!” She angrily took off the shoes from her feet. She turned to see two men running behind her, immediately she hit the men on the face with each shoe!Urghh! Urghh! They both fell hard down the stairs, she looked and saw more men coming; they began shooting at her, “Oh come on guys do you have to shoot at me? I thought we were friends!” She threw her hands in air like a nagging lady. With a smooth move, Lara brought out her other gun— she flicked both guns with her fingers, aimed at the men in black and shot at them unforgivably. Two down, four down! Their blood sprinkled in the air as they fell dead on the floor. Quickly Lara continued her race up the stairs. “Jack do something!” She called out angrily. “I’m on it boss! There’s a tough firewall”. “Do it quickly, I can’t climb these stairs forever!” Lara began to sound out of breath, she stopped to rest a little. The building was so large an
Lara gasped in shock when she saw a tall man dressed in black standing in front of her. “Let’s make this easy for both of us, shall we?” He scoffed and adjusted his leather jacket, “FBI! I’m agent Ryan Steven. Just hand over the diamond and all this will be over!” The tall man showed off his ID to create fear in Lara’s heart. “Never!” She whispered and threw a tiny black ball at him, immediately the ball exploded loudly and filled the air with thick purple dust! Lara took to her heels and gave it a run for her life, she opened the last door on the roof which led her to a wide space, she felt the air of freedom touch her skin. “Jack! Let’s go!” She called. Jack was all packed up and ready to go, he ran behind Lara towards the helicopter that had been set to take off as soon the boss came up to the roof. Oliver the pilot gestured his hand towards them telling them to hasten up “Come on guys!” “Hey stop there or I’ll shoot!” The FBI threatened from behind. “Damn it!” Lara cursed.
"I'm taking you in of course!" He readjusted himself then switched his gun to the other hand, "I've got the thief, requesting back up, we're on the roof!" The agent brought out a transceiver and spoke into the two way radio. Then he fixed his gun back into the holster on his trouser and made a move towards Lara with the intention to cuff her hands. "Why're you smiling?" Oliver whispered to jack in the chopper. "Cause the boss's about to whoop the agent's ass!" He whispered back. "How'd you know that?" "Juuust watch!" Jack chuckled. Lara immediately went on her knees, raised up her face towards Ryan and smiled, "Are you really gonna arrest me?" "You're hereby under arrest for theft! Whatever you say or do will be held against you in the court of– ". Before he could finish his sentence Lara slashed Ryan's knee with a tiny knife.Arrrraaggghh! The agent held his knee in pain, his blood gushed out like tap water. "Bitch!" He cursed at he
"Cheers!" "Cheers to more funds!" "To more funds!" Lara Daniels, Gianna, Jack, Oliver and Mia gathered at Lara's mansion on Madison Avenue to celebrate. The five of them had grown up together on Doyers street and since then, they've been inseparable. They were all poor kids living on the streets without parents or guardians, they had learned to fend and look out for each other's backs for survival. Now they were in their mid 20's, full of life and more adventures. They became the kings and queens of the streets by stealing with ease, running dangerous illegal errands for all sorts of people, and whenever they were caught there was always some sort of smart way out of it. "Tonight was fun!" Lara exclaimed with a bottle of bud light beer in her hand, she had already taken three bottles and she feeling dizzy and drowsy, her words were becoming slower and all she wanted to do was dance to the pop songs that were playing from the MP3 player, she was in such a h
It was another busy day in New York City, the roads were filled with cars like sardines, drivers continued to honk at every opportunity they had, pedestrians walked up and down the roads; each with a destination in mind. Businesses were ready for another day's sales. Ryan Steven had slept through the ringing of his clock on his table. After a stressful yesterday's shift with an injured bandaged knee and a resounding headache, he was exhausted beyond a night's sleep. He had felt ashamed and incompetent for his job after last night's encounter with the jewel thief. He couldn't believe that he had been brought down by a woman; one who kicked like a man, he thought. Ring ring ring! Ryan's alarm clock screamed at him again, this time he woke up with a shock, he yawned, wiped his eyes and sat on his bed, "Another day at that freaking job!" Ryan complained, "Shut the hell up clock!" Ryan angrily pressed the stop button of the alarm clock. "Shit!" He fell back to bed wan
Ryan parked in front of the NYPD building on Broadway, he walked into the entrance of the brown brick building, there was a large 34th police precinct written on the side of the building. Different types of cars as well police cars painted in blue and white were parked in front of the building. The agent walked into the building with a rubber bag holding two large burgers and a bottle of orange juice in his hand— which was his breakfast. He marched on boldly into the storey building, ”Hey Flinch!” He waved at the security man at the entrance. “Good morning Ryan!” The man replied. Then he walked into an elevator which would take him to the third floor. “Good morning!” Ryan shrugged and greeted the lady in the elevator. “Hello!” She smiled back. The room went silent as no one uttered a word after that. “Uhh– “ She cleared her throat, Ryan turned in her direction. “You must Ryan Steven!” “Yeah I am, have we met before?” “No no, I mean not yet, well we just met, but we’re going t
