Open confessions

The room felt incredibly small at this moment. Suffocated. She felt suffocated. How was this even possible? She had to be in a dream, that is it! She isn't awake at all. She grabbed her wrist and pinched as hard as she could to wake herself up.

"Shit!" She cried the burning pain from her nails hitting her flesh.

"It is not a dream. I am real, so are you, so is this" he said allowing his vampire features to come forward. Long sharp fangs, claw like nails, black eyes almost soulless, and danger. She felt like he was danger. She started to shift and tremor.

"My darling please don't be afraid" he whispered.

It felt confusing and yet familiar. She was sure she had never dreamt any of this. What is happening?

"How...how....why" she stuttered unable to compose her thoughts.

"We have been this way before. You were my soulmate, my love in a past life...at least for you. I have existed for centuries waiting for you again" Ian said, the sadness in his voice palpable.
