Chapter 1

Sandra ran in tears to a chemist to get drugs for her mum and she has a lot of debt already from the chemist and form people living around her in the ghetto where she and her mum lived, she got to the chemist weeping and the chemist man frown.

“ What have you come here to do again? Have you come to collect drugs uncredited again?” He ask in anger and Sandra is already crying.

“ My mum is dying, I have five hundred Naira to pay for the drinks I want to get for her now” Sandra says in tears.

“ What about the drugs you took on uncredited the last time? When will you pay me my money?” The chemist man ask in anger and Sandra cried.

“ I promise you that I would pay you as soon as I get the money” she says weeping.

“ You must be stupid. Do you take me for a fool? This is the same story you have been telling me for over three month, I need my money or else I will tell my brother that is police to arrest you and your sick mother” the chemist man says and Sandra weep and she continues to beg him.

“ I promise you that I pay you please just seek the drugs for me, my mum is dying” she says.

“ You are owing me twenty thousand Naira and now you bring just five hundred Naira to buy another drugs for your mum so tell me how do

You want to pay me that” the chemist ma says.

“ I will sell

You the drugs now because of anything happened to your mum, they will blame me for it but I will give you and your mum just two working days and if I don’t see my money, you will be arrested by the police” he says and Sandra continues long crying and the chemist gave him the drugs and he collected the five hundred Naira from her.

“ Of you lock me up, how do you expect me to get the money?” She ask.

“ Get out from my chemist now” he says and Sandra left and she ran back home in their room self contain where she and her mum leave and she gave her mum the drugs and some minutes later, she heard a knock on the door and her mum is already asleep and she open the door and it’s her friends Amaka and Chinaza.

“ Amaka! Chinaza” she says and they hug.

“ What happened? Why did call us on phone that it’s urgent?” Chinaza ask.

“ Its seems like you have been crying” Amaka says.

“ Yes, I have been. It’s my mum again” she says.

“ Oh! Your mum. What happened to her this time again” Chinaxa ask.

“ She needs a serious medical care and I don’t have the money, I had to go to the chemist to buy a five hundred drugs and the that’s is the last cash with me and now the chemist said he will lock me up if I don’t pay his money in two working days, the landlord is also on my neck, I just don’t know what to do and I am also owing some neighbors in the compound money” she says weeping.

“ Your problem is much. Remember that you also owing me fifty thousand and Amaka as well fifty thousand and you have not paid it and I am sure you called us here to lend another money but you what baby girl, he can’t woken this time around because we also have our problems dear, you can’t continue this way, taking loan from everywhere” Chinaza says and Sandra weep.

“ Listen dear! Stop all this crocodiles tears. I am sure you wouldn’t want to become the queen of people that take loan. To safe your self and also your mum you can just accept to do what we ask you do, your mum is dying and if she die people will blame you for her death” Amaka says.

“ Right, you have no family from your mother side that can help because your mum was a orphan before sue met with your dad and your dad is death and your family does not want to see you or your mum so it’s time for you to fight for yourself darling, Amaka and I have been doing this and we are still alive nothing have happened to us so it time you join us in this business so you can make money and take care if your sick mum, right now sue need care and I am sure you wouldn’t want her to leave you alone on the earth to be an orphan” Chinaza says.

“ The life of a baby girl is so incredible” Amaka says.

“ Listen dear, you can come with us to the night clubs today and I promise you will see someone that will be interested in you fir the night, it’s just going to be a one night stand, I promise and at least you can pay a part of your debt to the chemist and some neighbors” Chinaza says.

“ You are not selling your body, you only trying to get money to raise funds for your sick mum” Amaka says.

“ It’s mean I am still selling my body” she says and Chinaza yells at her.

“ Once you started you wouldn’t want to stop because of the money you will be seeing” Chinaza says.

“ Alright joke apart. You will meet us at our house today at 8p.m I will provide you a dress to wear” Chinaza says.

“ We will see you in the evening” Amaka says and they left and Sandra entered back the room and she weep and she stare at her mum sleeping already and she cried.

“ I am sorry mum but I have to do this to save you because I can’t afford to lose you” she says and she cried.

Sandra is from a poor family and she has to live the life of the baby girl to survive.

James just finished having meeting with some business partners and he thank them for coming the meetings and his secretary walks closer to him.

“ You should see them off” he tells his secretary and she nods and James walks out of meeting room and she walking to his office back and he met his mum and Tolani at the receptionist and he wonders what they doing here.

James is a Billionaire and he is the one running his father company since his dad has retired from the office and Tolani is the one his mum wants him to marry and his mum and Tolani followed him to his office.

“ Mum! What are you doing here?” He ask in anger.

“ Since refuse to come to the house then I have decided to come to the office” his mum says.

“ Is the how to welcome your mum James?” Tolani ask and James gets very angry.

“ Why did you came with her mum?” He ask.

“ I brought here because she is your wife to be” his mum says and Tolani smiled.

“ I brought her to you so that you both can have time together, I will be leaving now” his mum says and Tolani and his mum bush and she left and Tolani smiled.

“ Your mum wants us to spend quality time together so I was thinking maybe we could have dinner together this evening or maybe I can spend the night with you in your house” Tolani says and she smiles.

“ I will rather spend the night with hoe than to spend the night with you” he says.

“ Why are you so bitter? Am I not human?” She ask.

“ You are so cheap that is why you begging for my love and I know all this is fake love because you are only after my money” he says and Tolani stare at him.

It’s in the evening already and Sandra’s mum is already asleep and she Sandra tiptoe from he room and she walks out and she shut the door and she stood in the from of the room and she thought about what Chinaza and Amaka ask her to do and she decided to go to them again and she was about entering and one of the neighbors stop her to yell at her.

“ Sandra! Where is my money? I need this money right now because I am starving, I only lending you because you needed it that time and your mum was dying, I want back my money right now, your mum is always sick it’s better you later die so that you can face your life” the neighbor says and Sandra stop her.

“ So not ever says that. You have no right to insult my mum so it’s better you leave my mum out if this, just face me because I was the one that came to ask for the money” she says in anger.

“ Jays give me some time, I will give you your money it’s a promise” she says.

“ I am running out of patience Sandra, all I want is my money, I promise if I don’t get my money by tomorrow then I will make sure I deal with you and your mum” the neighbors says and tears drop from Sandra’s eyes and in anger she decided to go meet Chinaza and Amaka because the insult it’s getting much in the area because I f their debt and she is already owing a lot of people money and she left.

Some minutes later she got to Chinaza and Amaka house and she knocks on their door and Amaka and she saw her and she hugs her and she ask her to come in and Sandra went in and Chinaza saw her she hugs her and she saw her dress.

“ What! Are you going to some church or something?” Chinaza ask and she walks to her wardrobe and she pull out a short dress because Amaka and Chinaza are already Fred up in their rass dress and Sandra stare at the dress Chinaza give to her.

“ What are you looking at you should wear it” Amaka says.

“ The dress is to short” she says.

“ Yes, I know just wear it. That what will bring out all your shapes and your beauty” Chinaza says.

“You should wear it now we have no time to wats again, I will help you with your make up” Amaka says and Chinaza looks at her hair because Sandra is on her natural hair and it’s not looking good on her her and Chinaza decided to lend her bob wig to her and Sandra wear her the dress and she is not feeling comfortable on it because it’s looks to short and she use her hand to pull it down.

“Come on stop pulling it down, it’s looks good on you this way” Chinaza says and Amaka did Sandra’s make up and she help her dress the bob wig Chinaza lend her and Sandra stood up and she stare at herself in the mirror and Chinaza smiles.

“ You are looking so gorgeous” Chinaza says.

“ We should get going now because I have a customer to meet with” Amaka says and Sandra was not happy but she has no choice than to go with them so that he can save her mum and as well pay her debt and they all walks out if the house and Amaka stop a taxi and they all enter.

James close from office and he was about to enter his car and Tolani stop him.

“ HeyJames! I am sure you did not forget about us spending time” she says and she smiled and James did not answer and he enters his car and he decided to go to a night club to clear his head because Tolani ruined his day and he drove of your the same club Sandra and her friend went to and Tolani gets very angry because James left her.
