Chapter 9

Ethan was not feeling like himself at all. He had even sent the girl he had brought home last night away without doing anything with her.

The whole day had been filled with intrusive thoughts trying to take over his mind. He decided to take a walk to the private beach on his property that evening as the sun was setting and the light was fading from the sky.

He sat alone on the beach, staring out at the waves. He felt so lost, so confused. He had no idea what to do.

Should he tell his mother what was going on? He had forgotten to call her after the incident with his father but he had seen her missed calls later during the day when he was out clubbing and he never returned them.

Or should he just run away from it all? He felt like he was at a crossroads, and he didn't know which way to turn. The wind was blowing, and the waves were crashing, and the world seemed to be moving on without him. He felt so alone.
