Chapter twenty four

Cassandra slept much later than usual, and her body appreciated the extra sleep. She awoke feeling much better than the night before. She was happy that she had finally heard from Jason and chalked up the late-night text to him simply being busy with the tour. She jumped out of bed and grabbed a cup of coffee from the kitchen before showering. She threw on a stylish navy blue jumper with open-toe ankle boots and pulled her hair into a sleek, high ponytail.
