ready for your next surprise, love?" Jason asked as he rose from the table.

"I am!" Cassandra beamed enthusiastically. She wondered what he could have in store for her next that could be better than the beautiful rooftop garden lunch they just had.

Jason took Cassandra's hand and led her through the garden doors and back into the hotel. He pressed his hand against the small of her back as he guided her toward the elevator. She loved how attentive he was being.

They arrived back down to the ground floor of the hotel. The couple walked outside to see Jason's driver and black truck waiting for them at the curb. "Charles, we meet again!" Jason teased with a friendly smile.

"Good evening Mr. Cole, Miss Stewart. I hope you enjoyed your lunch."

Charles was such a delightful man. Through the way they acted towards each other, Cassandra had a feeling that Charles had been employed by Jason for quite a while.
