“With all due respect, Alpha, it's a capital No!” Alex barked the last word out.

I could see the anger in his words, the anger in his eyes when he spoke. Personally, he knew everything that had happened to me when I was still with Zane and it was his anger that reflected in every of his words he spoke. I for one knew that he would never allow this to happen because he knew how evil Zane could be and if this fell on his hands, he could bring total destruction to the kingdom.

Several murmurs of agreement rang out while others remained silent. With Alex being one of the most vocal members of the pack, it wasn’t a surprise that he easily garnered support from those present.
