Chapter 95

“Let me go,” Quinn said, but Lincoln refused. Instead, he pulled her closer and held her by the waist.

“Quinn, I miss you,” he whispered in her ear.

Their closeness caused a shiver to run down Quinn's back.

She could feel her resolve breaking, and she bit her lips, not wanting to break her resolve. “Let me go,” she repeated.

Lincoln pulled her closer to him as he knew that it was a matter of time before she gave in to him. He kissed the back of her ear and he felt how she shuddered in his arms.

Her breathing became heavier, and he heard her heartbeat increase.

“I’m truly sorry for all I have done,” Lincoln apologized softly, and Quinn felt her heart melt. Tears immediately formed, and she blinked as she didn’t want to cry. She didn’t want Lincoln to see her at her lowest again.

She didn’t want him to know that he still affected her greatly; that she still loved him.

Lincoln gently turned her to face him as he wanted to see her face. He cupped her cheeks and rested his head on her
