Chapter 71 The Confession- Finale

“Elissa!”

Elissa flinched, coming back to reality after hearing Benjamin's voice. “Yes?” she croaked, positioning herself correctly on the chair.

“Are you alright? I called you twice” he said. Elissa nodded, saying she was fine but she wasn't. She was thinking about Carson. She was worried about the company situation. Although she did help him with the design, she still thought it wasn't enough. She had the urge to go and check if he was doing okay but she had been holding herself back. She knew how workaholic Carson was, and he wouldn't rest until and unless the work is over.

“Anyways, we have a meeting at ten. You need to be present there as well” Benjamin added.

As he was leaving, she asked him about Carson. “Have you heard about Waverlys Group and Co facing a tough time?”

Benjamin's left brow rose in curiosity, wondering why she was asking him about it. “Well, yes. I do am aware.”
