CHAPTER SIXTY NINE

Mr emeka had a kind of fondness for me that I found disgusting. I had so much hatred for him and didn't even know why. He was always smiling mischievously and when he wasn't smiling he was putting on a big frown. There was something about his smile that I hated so much and I knew he was a bad person behind those smiles and pretence.

His late wife was a close friend of mom and told her many things he did to her but nobody believed or seemed to hear her out except mom, and she had finally passed away after few weeks she was diagnosed with heart disease.

And here was dad trying to get rid of me by planning to force me get married to him.

"You know I am one of the important people in the church, what would people think of me if they hear about this, that I have a slut as a daughter? I would be given a back seat in the church, is that what you want? He said after some while.
