CHAPTER NINE

"Get that dirty pot out of this room, will you? Chioma yelled at boolu. I looked up from the book I was reading as boolu stood up reluctantly from the bed.

Boolu was not a very neat person. She left the pot she cooked with, with some leftover food inside unwashed for almost a week until it started to stink of rottenness and she was fond of doing that. Perhaps she loved the smell of dirt thought in amusement, like my sis at home who loved the smell of diesel, or she was just lazy.

Chioma and I had not been very friendly after the minor incident, or would I say she has been avoiding me. We had been close before when she found out I was from eastern part of the country just like her until then.

"Sorry guys, I actually thought I washed it yesterday, Ashley don't look at me like that please" boolu said rolling her eyes.
