“Stop!” I cried out, scared of looking down. I knew what was happening even without doing that. I couldn't even feel Chels anymore. Though she was still with me, I felt like the connection we once had was slowly drifting off.

“She undeniably has sufficient strong will. I haven't witnessed such a lengthy extraction,” Enoch's voice drifted into my ears.

I could barely grasp what he said. Though the words were plain enough, I couldn't fully make those words out. The pain numbed me. The emptiness I felt in my heart was so damned breaking. I had never felt so empty, so powerless that I couldn't even do anything. I felt a void in me.

“No, please!” I begged, screaming as the chants from the men became louder. Enoch's laughter made it all worse. I couldn't even breathe properly. My throat felt tight. My stomach was in the worst shape ever.

I was in agony, the lowest kind of it. Never had I felt so much pain. Never had I craved death more than I did at that moment.
