LUNA ALEXSpending time with Liz and the kids turned out not to be so bad. I was beginning to see some improvement in Liz, but I still remained cautious. This was not the first time that she had made it seem like she was changing, before resorting back to her old ways. We got to see the bears, tigers and the many different types of birds. Afterwards, we took the kids to the restaurant to get some dinner."Okay birthday girl, what will it be?" I asked looking down at her. "This." She smiled before pointing at the picture of the hamburger and fries."Okay." I wrote down her order along with Tom, Jerry and Liz's. I handed the order to Melissa."By the way, a man came by looking for you." She told me after handing her father the order."Who was he?" I grabbed cups and filled them up with lemonade. She shrugged. "Don't know he just says he wanted to talk to you."I groaned. "Please don't tell me it was that guy that was trying to get me to sell this place.""What? You're selling the restau
LUNA ALEXAfter a few minutes of Heather begging me I finally had agreed to talk to her. I unlocked the restaurant doors and we both sat across from each other at a booth."I loved your father." Hearing her say those words made me want to gag. She didn't love him, she couldn't have. How can you love him when you left him and broke his heart? "One day I met this man and I fell in love with him. I was given a choice-."Blah. Blah. Blah. "And you chose him, over me and dad." I finished for her."I did, but I never expected that you would be ripped away from me. Your father did everything in his power to keep you away from me.""Dad wouldn't do something like that," I said getting angry that she would accuse the man that raise me of doing that. "And even if he did, it was probably for a good reason. You're clearly an unfit mother." I knew those words were gonna hurt her, but I didn't care. After everything she put me and my dad, though, she deserves it.She was shocked by what I had said
I had been in a bad mood ever since my encounter with Heather. I decided to skip the breakfast rush and have Jack and Melissa open up for me. I was still really upset that she tried to accuse my dad of keeping her away from me, even if he did she could have fought for me, she could have taken him to court and got visitation, but she didn't and that speaks for itself.I spent my morning cleaning up the house while listening to classic old R&B records. The house hadn't been properly clean since my father's death, everything that he had left lying around was still where he left them. One thing about my dad is, he was a very messy person, so in a weird way having his mess around comforted me, it made me feel as though he was still living here and that he was just on vacation but the day has come and it was time to clean up.Even though I wanted the house to be cleaned I stayed clear of my dad's room because I wasn't ready to go through his things. I wanted some things to stay just as he l
I had just turned eighteen and after two years of still not finding my mate, I decided that I would embark on a worldwide trip to different packs in search of my mate. During this time my father took over the pack. I went to every pack in the United States and to most of the packs overseas besides one, Greenfield Pack. Greenfield Pack was located in England and had been overseas allies for us for a while. The only person accompanying me was Tyler and my guard James. I arrived at their pack house, where there was a party for unmated wolves going on. Lots of packs had these parties and invited other unmated wolves from the different pack to come to see if their mate was present. A lot of times this helped form treaties with other packs, especially for high ranking wolves. James stayed in his room considering he was already mated while Tyler and I mingled in the party. The lights had been dim and there had been dozens of wolves scattered around the room, some talking, other's dancing,
I ended up staying in the parking lot of Mel's Diner for two and a half hours, watching her through the glass window. She was so fucking beautiful, and all mine. My wolf was overly excited about finally meeting his mate, and so was I. It didn't matter that she was human, and a human Luna was something that's never been heard of. If anyone had anything to say about it I wouldn't hesitate to snap their necks.I left the restaurant when I notice that the restaurant was beginning to become empty, afraid of begin caught spying on her. When I had arrived at the pack house it was dark, and many other the wolves were heading to bed."Meet me in my office, now." I mind linked Willie."Yes, Alpha." He responded, and within five minutes he was standing outside of my office."Come in." He walked in, wearing his red and black plaid pajamas."Is everything okay?" He asked nervously. Usually, when I called people to my office this late they were either in trouble, or something bad had happened."What
ALPHA RYANThere was no doubt that I was definitely openly admiring her plump butt while inhaling her sweet scent as she led us to her office. Her office was a small bland room with only a desk and a couple of pictures hung up on the wall. Her office was another thing that would need to be updated."Have a seat." She sat down at her desk while I sat in the chair in front of her desk. "So tell me about this.... business proposal?" She scrunched up her eyebrows.I smiled at how cute she looked. "How long have this place been open?" I asked."Twenty-two years." She answered proudly.I nodded. "Impressive..."Thanks for your support!I looked up at the pictures behind her desk. There were three photos, one with her and her father. I had seen photos of them in the folder that Willie had given me, apparently he owned the restaurant but had recently passed away. The second photo was with her, her father, the younger version of the female energize waitress and a middle aged man who I assume w
It was the second night that I had slept outside of Alex's house. She had arrived a little after 10 p.m., took a shower and went straight to bed. She spent most of the night tossing and turning before finally falling asleep at 1 a.m."I can't wait to sleep next to her." My wolf voiced. My wolf understood that we had to wait before we told Alex but he was always eager to make comments about what our future would be like with our mate. The next morning I had arrived back at the pack house. I had only managed to sleep for about 4 hours so I was badly in need of some coffee. It was a Saturday so not many people were woke besides Linda who was preparing breakfast."Coffee?" She asked me. I nodded and she places a cup of coffee with crème and sugar in front of me. "So, when can we meet her?" She asked me."What?" I asked confused."Your mate. When will you introduce her to the pack?" She asked nonchalantly as she flips over the bacon she was frying.I smirked. "Linda curse you for being so
"What happen?" I asked Tyler. When Willie relayed the message to me that something bad had happened at the pack house I quickly shifted and ran all the way home leaving my car still parked in the parking lot of The Red Café."James was doing rounds when he got attacked by two rogues," I growled.James was a middle-aged pack wolf that had acted as my bodyguard growing up. He took Lily and me to school every morning until I was able to drive and had even accompanied me on many of my quest to find my mate."Is he okay?" I asked worriedly."He's in surgery now."I took this attack more personal because James was someone that had taken care and protected me when I was defenseless and hadn't yet shifted. Whoever had done this would definitely feel the consequence when I got a hold of them."What happen to the two rogues?""Burn the body and then I want to know who sent him and why? By any means necessary." He nodded and exited the pack house. After calming down I made my way to the pack hos
