"I just can't believe this happened." Ellie cried in disbelief. As soon as I opened the door she pulled me into a hug, crying she drenched my shirt with her tears.

According to Ryan, Paul had been a father figure to Ellie ever since her parents died, losing him had clearly been just as hard to her as everyone else. Her mate Noah only came in for a few second before leaving to go talk with Daniel to make sure that the pack was okay.

"I can't even remember the last time we had a real conversation. With work and the argument about Elliot, I've just been so busy and-and-." Lily cut herself off by bursting into tears. She was referring to the night at The New Elite Pack which was the last time they talked and that was an argument between the two. With the both of them being so stubborn they refused to give in making that the last time they spoke.
