Kathrine’s Point of View

Kathrine sat in the dimly lit basement, her heart heavy with despair. It had been hours since she had been confined to this dreadful place, and with each passing minute, her hope of ever being released grew dimmer. The walls seemed to close in on her, suffocating her spirit and leaving her feeling utterly defeated.
