Chapter 06

“Come on, honey, now let's meet Aaron at the hospital!”

Alex's feelings are now dominated by a feeling of panic and fear that is extraordinary.

It made his body suddenly become very weak as if he had lost energy.

He nodded his head, following Adaline's invitation to meet Aaron at the hospital.

Now he can only surrender and doesn't know what to do to keep his identity safe.

After paying for the food, they walked straight to the car. However, Alex suddenly fainted when he had just arrived in front of the car.

“Oh, my God!” Adaline was immediately shocked when she saw her husband suddenly fainted.

He then asked how many people were around to help lift Alex into the car. After that, she immediately took Alex to the hospital.

Time flies, half an hour has passed.

Alex woke up from fainting, then realized Adaline was beside him who had been waiting for him to wake up.

When Adaline saw that Alex finally woke up from fainting, it immediately made her smile.

“Honey, thank goodness you're awake,” Adaline said with a smile.

“Honey, how is Aaron? Have you met him?”

“Yeah, I saw him for ten minutes when you passed out. As it turns out, an accident he had left him with amnesia.”

“Amnesia?”

“Yeah, now he doesn't remember anything. He doesn't remember his parents, he doesn't remember all of us, and he doesn't remember who he is either.”

Alex's feelings were immediately relieved and he could still secure his identity because Aaron had amnesia.

“Thank you, God. Soon, I will think of a way to be able to kill Aaron before he regains his memory,” said Alex in his heart.

He then got up from the bed and showed a smile that pretended to be happy with Aaron who had woken up from the coma.

“It's okay, honey, the amnesia is only temporary. Aaron will get his memory back.”

“Yeah, the doctor said that too. Then, how about you? The doctor said you fainted because you were experiencing an extraordinary feeling of panic. What is it that makes you feel that panic, honey?”

“I'm not having a panic, honey. I'm just tired from thinking about the many problems that happened today. Don't worry, now I'm fine. Come on, let's meet Aaron!”

They smile at each other. After that, go see Aaron.

Upon arrival, Mr. Spencer and Mrs. Aurora greeted them with a smile.

Alex and Aaron fell silent and stared at each other. Alex could see Aaron's gaze indicating that he did have amnesia and did not remember Alex.

“Alex, why do you keep standing like that? Come here, meet Aaron!” said Mrs. Aurora.

Alex then slowly approached Aaron then sat in a chair next to Aaron.

“Aaron, this is Alex William, your best friend's husband,” said Mr. Spencer.

“Aaron, I have heard from Bella that you have amnesia. Is that true? You don't remember anything? Do you remember me?”

Aaron shook his head, a sign that he didn't remember Alex at all.

Alex's feelings now became even more relieved because he had seen with his own eyes that Aaron had completely lost all of his memory.

“It's okay,” Alex said with a smile. “You will only have temporary amnesia, not forever. So be patient, your memory will surely come back.”

Aaron slowly smiled after hearing Alex's words.

“Alex, Adaline, thank you for visiting Aaron here. Now you go home to rest. I know you must be very tired of the bad news from Chris and Aaron. Go home and rest,” said Mrs. Aurora.

“We'll come back later to visit Aaron with Mommy,” Adaline said with a smile.

They all smile at each other. After that, Alex and Adaline went home.

When they got home, they went straight to sleep because they felt very tired from today.

Alvin and Brianna had just finished eating in their prison cell.

“Honey,” Brianna called. “We should be able to help Alex.”

“Helping Alex like what do you mean?”

“We should at least help Alex come up with an idea to be able to kill Chris. We can't just stand idly by like this without helping him.”

“You're right, honey. Let's think about it now!”

They then fell silent and began to think of ways to kill Chris. Five minutes later, Brianna had an idea.

“I've got an idea, honey.”

“What idea was that?”

“I didn't come up with an idea to kill Chris, but I did come up with an idea to kill Mrs. Caroline.”

She then explained her idea. An idea to kill Mrs. Caroline.

The idea is to damage the electrical plug in Mrs. Caroline's room. With that, Mrs. Caroline could be electrocuted when she tried to charge her cell phone.

She felt very sure, Alex could do that and no one would know that Alex had damaged it.

Everyone would have thought the plug was broken. So, Alex will stay safe after successfully killing Mrs. Caroline.

“Wow! Your idea is extraordinary, honey,” said Alvin who immediately smiled and agreed with his wife's idea. “Let's tell Alex now about your idea!”

Brianna nodded her head. After that, immediately called Alex.

The call woke Alex from sleep.

For a moment, Alex looked at Adaline who was already sound asleep, then immediately picked up the phone on the balcony of the room.

“Hello, Mom, what's wrong?” said Alex in a very low voice so as not to be heard by Adaline.

Brianna immediately told Alex about her idea.

Alex immediately smiled happily because his mother gave him an idea which he thought was very easy and safe to do.

“Thank you, Mom. Mom's idea is amazing.”

“Then, what about Aaron? Mommy overheard him knowing our conversation.”

“I've settled things with him. So you don't need to worry. Now, I want to go back to rest because I feel very tired.”

“Well, have a good rest, my son.”

“I love you, Mom.”

“I love you too, honey.”

Alex then ended the call with a smile. After that, back to bed and continued sleeping.

“Alex,” Adaline called. “Who are you on the phone with? I like to hear you say I love you.”

Alex didn't expect that Adaline could hear what he said on the phone, even though he said it in a very low voice.

“I said that to my mommy, honey.”

“Do not lie!”

“Right, I already got a call from my mommy. I hung up saying I love her. What's wrong with you? Why do you suspect me like that? You know I've always loved you. There's no way I could betray you, honey.”

Adaline took a deep breath for a moment after hearing Alex's answer.

“I'm sorry, honey, I'm just afraid of losing you.”

Alex hugged Adaline tightly and kissed her gently on the cheek. After that, he closed his eyes again to fall asleep.

Adaline stared at Alex's handsome face and then kissed him back gently. After that, she closed his eyes to fall back asleep.

A few minutes after Adaline closed her eyes again, Alex opened his eyes again and stared at Adaline hatefully.

“Rest in peace today, Adaline. Soon, I will make your mother follow your father to hell,” Alex said in his heart with a smile.
