A Wrong Decision

Xander's POV

The thought of my wife being absent on our wedding night was fueling me with anger. My wolf hated it equally or probably more than me. He was eager to come to my surface and show my nominal wife her real place. But we were in the human world and nobody should be knowing that I was a werewolf.

I closed my eyes to calm my wolf that was growing mad. The thought of Zara wasn't ready to erase my mind. I was so absorbed in it that I couldn't even perceive that somebody had just entered my room.

"Aha…" I groaned in pain.

I peeled my eyes open when I felt a stringent pain in my hand.

I saw a nurse inserting a drip on my backhand.

I held her hand and asked coldly, "What are you doing?"

The nurse got scared on seeing me in rage and she trembled.

"Sir, the doctor asked me to keep you on a drip for tonight." She stuttered.

I freed her hold over my hand and harshly took off the drip. Opening and closing my hand a little, I said, "No need."
